22 catches for 215 yards.
Has had a sore Hammy? Might be over it.
Poor OC unquestionably.
but rookie Kirk, who is a similar player, is outplaying Larry.
I think it's fair to say Larry is slipping. We are relying more on Seals-Jones and Kirk as the go to guys.
I cant see Larry coming back next season. He has too much pride.

Yes, he's getting older like all of us. He's definitely paid more than his worth.

I think your example of lack of yards/catches is not a good support for why you think hes declining. That same argument could be made for DJ and his lack of catch/yards.
Point being if you dont throw to the guy, then he wont have good stats. Ive been screaming at my TV for 6 weeks "THROW TO LARRY". Instead we waste balls to Chad and JJ.
I Guarantee if we targeted Larry 20+ times per game: 1. The offense would look alot better 2. Larrys stats would look alot better

Cards need to go sign Amari Cooper. He is a legit WR who still in his prime. Amari, Kirk and one more fast WR to open up over the top. A great view for the future. Larry isnt on the decline, outside normal aging, its QB play IMO.

Of course he's declining; he's not in his prime anymore. This happens... But I think it's a little unfair to judge him in the Cardinals' offense right now. Put him elsewhere and the decline would be a lot less noticeable, because he's still pretty special when given the opportunity. The things he's done in his career with the talent around him (or lack thereof) is pretty effing amazing, but, he can't be expected to carry the load forever. Love Fitz!

Raiders ain't getting no first rounder for Cooper. A third maybe, so i would offer Bucannon and a 4th for Cooper. Would even consider Reddick for Cooper, both are 24 years old with potential and years left.

IF (big IF) we have any competent OL bodies left to protect Rosen, maybe more passing plays to Fitz would let him consider one-last-time next season. Maybe. The key of course is what McCoy does or does not do, and that is only one of many big questions hanging over the success or failure scales for this year.
As one poster pointed out recently, having two receivers run routes within a few feet of each other guarantees double coverage when the ball goes to one of them - one being Fitz in this scenario. That is poor play design, and guess who does that?

Nothing would be worse for Rosen to force feed a guy who cant get open. Chad rarely gets any looks by the way. Plus when was the last time Larry dropped the ball twice in a game?

Not a 1st rd pick though, or even a 2nd.

Larry hasnt been open his entire career. Why do you think he was ever a racehorse? Every catch hes made, hes covered. Thats why hes a HOFr. Kurt Warner always said that he had to get use to throwing to Larry, who was always covered, but always caught it. Yes force feed it to Larry. Whats the worst that can happen? He either catches it, or its picked and we lose. So what? We're 1-6. Id rather throw at a covered Larry than a wide open JJ or Chad, anyday.
