Cards went to Tampa in 2009. Suns went to the WCF in 2009-10. Really crazy that they both were close at that time. Could it be

Clips are the weaker of the two teams. Jazz will win, not likely to pull a Nuggets fake-out for their fans. Suns probably gonna have to take on the Jazz. Very tough bench. Nets still have to get past the Bucks and than 6ers or Hawks which none is an easy feat. Nets lost Irving to an ankle issue...Bucks tied series 2-2. Bucks will take this series now. Bucks are winning and fighting hard...Suns fans take note...the Bucks are for real too.

I really do believe Chris Paul should of won the MVP this year. If you go back when Booker started playing for the Suns (2015-2016) they didnt win more than 23 games and didnt make the playoffs. Heck last year they won 19 games. Then Paul comes and they place second best. Obviously you cant count the playoffs since MVP is decided before then, but Paul is the main reason for the turn around. As I said before, he is to the Suns like Nash was to the Suns. A player who made sure to get everyone involved, he made everyone around him better. They wouldnt be where they are now without Paul. People scoff at the idea claiming Booker is better then Paul, but as I said, with Booker over the past few seasons this team sucked badly. It takes more then a guy who can score, Paul has it all. He can score, he can defend, he can lead and he is a great locker room guy.

The clippers are gonna be hard to beat...they have playoff savy...they sandbag in the start and then feast They just pulled 2-2 and almost blew a big lead last night towards the end on their own home court. Watching the game, poor defense by the Jazz, thats the main reason why they lost. Cant really stay in the game when you are giving wide open jumpers from the free throw line. But to be honest, I agree they would be a tougher opponent va the jazz in the wcf.

Just have the Jazz - Clippers go 7 games ... Jazz don't have Conley and the Clippers' Morris had his best game by far. Not sure how soon until Conley comes back and Morris is not going to have that strong a game again. I do think I want to play the Jazz but they would have home court advantage whereas the Suns would have home court advantage vs. the Clips so right now --- just praying their series goes 7. I am leaning to wanting the Jazz then because they live on the 3-ball and when you have tired legs eventually the 3's stop falling.

Yeah Jazz defense is really bad, at least in the series against the Clippers. The suns have better shooters IMO and would have a big advantage. One thing on my mind is, will the off time help the Suns or will they be rusty?

One thing on my mind is, will the off time help the Suns or will they be rusty? I remember back in the haydays of the Spurs that they'd stomp team after team in the playoffs and sometimes have a week off between series. The time off did not cause rust. Just the opposite. HC Pops was able to do some media jawing and play some psych games with the next opponent for several days. Spurs players rested very little, instead worked on matchups and defensive schemes. Then when a series game 1 started, the Big Three -- Duncan, Ginobilli, and Parker -- ran the floor like a German auto assembly line, cranking out pretty play after pretty play. Don't fret the Suns' time off. The players will be ready.
