What just happened there? Suns blew a 16 point lead and are down by 3 after 1st half. They can't hit buckets They couldn’t miss the 1st quarter. |

They couldn’t miss the 1st quarter. Thus finals is over. Suns just don't have that killer instinct. Just like the cardinals, this was the last chance in my lifetime to see a championship. So frustrating. But this is over. |

They couldn’t miss the 1st quarter. Thus finals is over. Suns just don't have that killer instinct. Just like the cardinals, this was the last chance in my lifetime to see a championship. Trying to stay optimistic but this home game was in the rare “must win” category for me. The Suns came out on fire but then once again weren’t the team that wanted it more. That critical thing, wanting it more than the other guy, is looking like it will lose a championship opportunity where we were up 2-0.

Letting a 16-point lead slip away in the 2nd Qtr is hard to imagine, but the Bucks did hit their shots and earn 40-plus points, so credit them for that effort. I have no idea what happened to the Suns 5-man defense for 12 minutes. Did someone take a nap? Again, a killer turnover at the last 30 seconds of game 5 doomed the Suns. I'm not sure why Suns guards insist on driving through the lane in a 1-point game, a lane composed of a virtual forest of Sequoia type tall and long defenders, unless the Guards objective is to get simply get fouled and go to the line for 2 F/Ts.  Suns fans, stay positive these next two games. Your Suns will win #6 if the team wants it more than the Bucks team. The Bucks were making their shots at game 5. Both teams played solid defense for the most part. |

Suns defense should be told -- whomever is guarding Connaughton (who has made a number of big shots in almost all the games) cannot leave him to help. The kickout catch and shoot has been $$ for them. Crowder after 1st qtr gave them nothing, Torrey Craig played only 9 minutes and Cam Johnson didn't get the ball enough to shoot -- however I see the latter was a jaw dropping -19 in the 22 minutes he played. My other thought is -- doesn't Thanasis Antetokounmpo live with his MVP brother If so under the CV-19 protocols should Giannis be playing under a close contact tracing ?? The reason I am musing about this is Giannis had moments where he has had a tough time breathing that actually started about 7 days ago. However - I know I can trust the NBA that if Giannis tested positive they certainly wouldn't put his teammates, coaches and the other teams' players at risk I also know I can trust the NBA media to not ask Giannis about why he is having bouts of breathing trouble during games -- |

When the Bucks got their show going, it was impossible to stop. A Suns forward and guard has to anticipate Bucks outside passing better, box out the sight line and the cutter, or at least interrupt line of sight passing. There was almost nothing that could stop the Bucks stampede in the 2nd qtr. That 12 minutes is exactly where the Suns seemed to relax their pressure game, and the Bucks stepped up their passing and shooting game, went up by 10+, and ultimately caused the Suns to play catchup for quarters 3 and 4. Interesting strategies by both teams last night. Great Finals so far with some new stars in the making. |

I know I'm on a island here..but I still think the sun's got this...and not from a kool-aid point of view..
We had the last 2 games in our grasp and chris has been dead for the most part...all we need is for Chris to rise from the dead,ayton to have a very good game and book to book
Holliday and Middleton aint never had this many good games in a row...
Anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it..lol

News is not getting better -- Scott Foster has been sighted in Milwaukee today. I have a feeling that Foster would be ref for Game 6 as it only makes sense since he officiated Game 3. Maybe he will go into health and safety protocol and self-isolation for the next 10 days or so. We can only hope. |
