Purdue plays in the Big Ten but it's not a great football program. Purdue has been one of the worst programs in the Big Ten in the last 10 years. They finished with a winning record only twice in the last 10 years (2011 and 2017) and that too with a 7-6 record both times. It's not difficult to finish with a winning record in college football since you can schedule 4 non-conference cupcakes to pad your record. So I understand where Aris is coming from. When you think of recruiting from the best college football programs, Purdue does not immediately come to mind. Guess you guys would have p assed on drew brees thenSomeone call 911 because there has been a MURDER.

Steve Keim has a track record in drafting. A very bad track record. Nothing he has done in this draft has shown me he's learned anything. The guy's just a BUM of a GM when it comes to drafting.

Huge surprise. I'd take bets the Cards do NOT finish last in the NFCW. This is nothing but the same everyday drivel to be expected from a handful of you. Scream your head off at draft picks that have never set foot in an NFL game and never offer a damn thing as far as what you would have done different. Squeal more about Keim when MB or scouts or other factors like KK are involved. Gets WAY old.

Its really not. This place is usually bustling with hope and excitement after the draft. Quote. "Handful of you". i don’t see us finishing last as that will belong to the 49ers. I don’t see us finishing first either as we are just going to be another 8-9 or 9-8 team to mediocrity. Too bad we aren’t in the NFC Least division like we use to be. We would take that division.

Remember the gushing over the 3 WR Keim drafted. I thought from reading the board we were getting three Jerry Rice's. LOL.

I actually agree, it isnt Keim, it isnt anyone else but ownership. This is one of the oldest franchises in the NFL and yet they are one of the worst. Heck if you go back to 1980 this team has had less than 10 winning seasons. Over 40 years and this team has had a total of 8 winning seasons. In the 1990's they had ONE winning season. Then the only time this team was good was when they had a washed up hall of fame QB. After he retired this team was back to bad. Then Palmer came, a couple of winning seasons and then back to crap. Its like this organization has good seasons by accident. Plenty of different personnel since then. Its ownership plain and simple. But we cant do anything about it because its ownership. So I can understand the "handful" of fans on here being gloom and doom.

I like this post, Card fans have to be true fans to stick with this franchise. No bandwagon fan can handle lack of striving for excellence that the Bidwell family displayed for so long. SK challenged MB this year, thinking Tulsa didn’t have a airport big enough for MB’s jet...well MB showed him. Sad when a team’s own website draft highlight is the owner picking player up in his jet. Reminds me of the five foot nothing guy with a jacked up truck. Not sure if it is a barometer for talent of Card’s draft class, but NFL network hasn’t covered much of it.
