I think of the story of the crippled man who attended an evangelical healing looking for a miracle when I think about the Cards chances to win this Sunday and the faith some fans have in the victory:
The way the man tells the story, he went and listened and was totally inspired and believed a miracle was possible. When the time came, he went forward on this crutches dragging his useless legs along as he struggled to go forward and receive the miracle cure. The man made it to the front after a long struggle. The evangelical came forward and touched on the right arm and his right crutch fell away, then the evangelical touched him on his left arm and his left crutch fell away. Breathlessly, the listener asked, "What happened?" The man replied: "I fell on my butt, I'm a cripple, don't you know?"
Therein lies the miracle of the Cards beating Minnesota!
Oh ye of little Faith! Need a mustard seed?

With my untrained eye Minnesota away seems a tough fixture. Logic dictates that this is a home banker.
For no other reason (without trying to sound a smarta**e) I previously posted after the Seattle game that we would be 2-4 after 6, hence I am duty bound to tip us a win. However, I am surprised that so many in the forum poll are seeing a Cardinal victory.
Surely this fixture can be viewed as a free hit; one where 'performance' is more important that 'result'. After feeling on the negative side throughout this week I am for some unexplained reason now feeling more positive. - I am just hoping that the offence side starts to evolve and the play options expand. Not an overnight revolution, but at least good signs that the Wilks / McCoy combination CAN take us forward. - I know many will scoff, I may even be alone, but (these guys are in charge) I can still only wish for good things! - Perhaps the win last weekend will be key?
Whatever happens, enjoy the game all. I look forward to reading your comments post game! - Should these be of a happy nature then I will raise a glass full of the amber stuff to celebrate.
The time has now come to release the handbrake!

Now if somehow McCoy got "diverted" and never makes the plane ride to Minnesota. Then Wilks would have to turn to Leftwich for an emergency game plan. Well I can only hope.....

Just because you guys are on Proboards too (and therefore so easily accessible), I signed up here to chat a little bit. I mostly wanted to tell you guys that, at Purple Pain, we do a weekly thing where we quote what opposing fans are saying about the upcoming matchup, and this time I used a quite a bit of quotes from this board. Feel free to check it out: Enemy Fan Forums: Arizona Cardinals
Anyone here heading to the game? I know I saw that someone said that they were, but I don't remember if it was from this board or another. I'm actually heading to Minnesota tomorrow. Good luck, guys! Obviously I hope (and believe) my Vikes get the win, but I also hope your guys stay healthy and Rosen gets some valuable experience against our D. P.S. I LOVE David Johnson and Fitzgerald, but not so much on Sunday.

Welcome Funkytown, the winner of this game will probably score 38 points or more and the only way the Cards have a chance of scoring 38 is 1 special teams touchdown, two defensive touchdowns and Vikings only play with 9 guys on defense the whole game!

I like your ... lack of confidence, lol, but you're playing the Vikings. You always have a chance! We have a special talent of ... screwing things up and failing to meet expectations! Many of the Bills fans sounded a lot like you guys do here. ...and look what happened. We even made a video about it: I don't think we'll have a repeat of that Bills game, but you guys might keep it close/respectable. I hope not, lol, because I'm due for a nice, relaxing win ... but it might be closer than you guys think. We'll see!
