Rotator problems? Hope not those can be bad at our age. Dad is 90 and tore his right rotator years ago. Now he can't lift his right arm at all. They couldn't do surgery 20 years ago because of his diabetes. So do what Dr. Daughter say to do!  |

We're gonna have so much money to work with next offseason..
We will have to resign David Johnson, which might be complicated.
We might be able to steal Zack Martin from the 'Boys. Adding a luxury pass rushing piece--Barr, Clowney, Lawrence, etc--would be huge and might let Rosen have a Wentz-like ride to a SB.

We're gonna have so much money to work with next offseason.. We will have to resign David Johnson, which might be complicated. We might be able to steal Zack Martin from the 'Boys. Adding a luxury pass rushing piece--Barr, Clowney, Lawrence, etc--would be huge and might let Rosen have a Wentz-like ride to a SB. Resigning Johnson should not be complicated if we treat him with the respect he has earned. If he returns to his elite status this season, we should offer him a 3-4 year deal making him one of the top 3 highest paid RB's in the NFL, because he has earned it. David Johnson is the most humble, respecful, team-first player we have (bring up Larry if you want, but he has never played a down for the Cardinals where he was not being PAID...often more than his actual value). David Johnson can, and should be the face of our franchise and offense for at least the next few years. There is no one better to rub off on Rosen attitude wise than DJ. If we try to mess with DJ by franchising him multiple times and messing around with resigning him to save in the end...2-3 million bucks....when we have over 100 million to spend next season, then we will be making a huge mistake. DJ needs to have a bounce back year. If he does, we should sign him to a 3 year deal that pays him very well until he's 30, and Rosen is ready for a new deal. |

This is why the TJ Logan last year, and Chase Edmonds this year drafts were important. We already need to find his future replacement. DJ declared for the draft when he was in his mid twenties correct? We need to milk as much production out of him as possible, so a 3-4 year contract would be ideal since I think he has the type of RB skills that can make him effective into his 30's. When he just can't do it between the tackles anymore, just move him to WR and extend his career. |
