Don't think about this one: but the browns in 3 seasons who have won just 2 games could kick our butts right now. We've gone from the irrelevant Cards to the likes of the 016-17 Browns. How does one show that on a graph?

I'm not hoping this team wins enough to get to the playoffs. I'm hoping the team wins enough to at least have a shred of pride entering the offseason.

I would like to see them play each divisional opponent tough, hopefully we can avoid getting crushed by the Rams the 2nd time around.
Defend the nest. Win a few games at home, stay competitive on the road.
Dump the staff and start fresh with new draft, FA's and Rosen and DJ.

As long as the D doesn't give up and continues to make the transition to the 4-3 (which is really a 4-2-5) there is hope we can become competitive before seasons end. The O under Rosen Should get better every week in spite of McCoy's and/or Wilks play calling decisions. Are we going to the playoffs this year? No, not without a Real Miracle or 2 type games happening. But getting to 7 wins would be a small victory in terms of Team coherency for this year. Downside is that if the Team can achieve 7 or 8 wins (being an optimist here) it would mean McCoy is safe for another season. Maybe even the life of his contract.....  |
