how could any cards player want sam still on team-he was horrible...trade him if possible, cut him if not...use the 4 mil saved to try to bring in a player.
fantasy trade...cards send sam, Brandon Williams to niners for a 3rd rd pic.
What $4 mil player sitting on his couch right now is there that can help us? If Keim could get the Niners to take Bradford off their hands that would make up for any mistake he has made. Fantasy indeed, nobody is trading for Sam.

back when the cards were known for being cheap we had the 3rd hishest payroll in the nfl. its not that we didn't spend, we just spent stupidly on contracts like dj and fitz. we gave average players star qb money then claimed it wasn't their fault, that they couldn't, no body could after paying them like they can. Peterson, the one se let go who made 1 million a year and was proven had more yards and touchdown than dj does on the season. people are saying to get out of sams contract. why no calls to get out of djs and fitzs contracts? they are just as bad. there have been times fitz was 3rd on the team un yardage, yet he gets paid more than every receiver combined and pushed as a star player. why not bench wilks? what reeks is the play calling. did rosen throw a single touchdown under these clown? I mean to his own team. lucky that got called back. wilks will ruin rosen and not give a damned because of his ego. did you notice how wilks kept switching 1st and 3rd person answering questions? anytime he thought their was credit to take "I felt, I did" any time there was blame it was always " we decided, we this, we that" wilks will throw anyone under the buss except his scape goat to take his blame. he will ruin rosen. wilks should have been fired last week. I respectfully disagree. No coach ruins players unless it's physical abuse. If Rosen stinks up SFS on Sunday, he has only himself to blame. Not Wilks. Likewise, I will not blame Wilks if Rosen flames out. Rosen is a pro. He knows the QB duty is 100% on him now. I've been put in extraordinary performance situations in my lifetime and relished the opportunities. I also was very prepared. For Rosen, last Sunday was not a fair sample size. Next Sunday is 100% mental until that first snap. Rosens training, instincts, and teammates will help him thru the day. Wilks naming Rosen the starter today was a smart move. The naming now gives the rookie 5 days to put everything into perspective, concentrate on a game plan, practice with the starters, and then go out there and execute and win that first game. That's what Wilks has to expect of Rosen. No less.

Just a couple months ago the fans were at the practices and saying Sam was no doubt the no. 1 QB it wasnt even close. Crazy what a few games can do to a team. Yes when he was not in any danger of not getting hit he looked great. He's scarred from all those hit/surgeries. I laughed when I read all the accolades from the Cowboys preseason game when we played all their scrubs and everyone was singing the praises of this team. Clearly from watching the cowboys first string in the real games those were real bad players we were dominating. I'd like to see Sam cut right now. As it is he may never play another down in the NFL.

It would take a David Carr situation to ruin him. He's going to thrive and the sad part is he may keep a mediocre coach like Wilks/McCoy around a lot longer. Mediocrity is job security in the NFL. We do not have anything close to resembling BB here.

Just a couple months ago the fans were at the practices and saying Sam was no doubt the no. 1 QB it wasnt even close. Crazy what a few games can do to a team. Key word being “games” vs “practice”. He didn’t worry about getting hit in practice. I’m sure some of McCoy’s play calling is to blame as he’s trying to get the ball out quickly and Bradford is just mirroring that thought process. Maybe too much so.

Since Sam has performed poorly we will now start Rosen.
Will Coach Singletary Wilks start Chase Edmonds since David Johnson has performed poorly?
I mean, we can't have sacred cows holding back the team.

You will like Rosen better and you'll see this should release DJ for better runs.
