Of course another huge game. Win this one 3-0 in division. This would go a long way to winning the West, particularly if we get split with Rams and bury the Niners once and for all. We need to be thinking no 1 seed with every game a must win. The Saints are hurting with Brees out many games if not rest of year. So the Bucs and Packers would likely be the rivals for no 1. All November, December, and January games are huge for wannabe playoff teams. Here is the remaining Cardinals schedule, a high mountain to get over in order to make the playoffs, and my quick w/l calls. I see the Cardinals ripping off 5 straight wins from Nov 29th to Dec 27th: ARZ @ SEA Nov 19, start 820 pm EST (loss) ARZ @ NE Nov 29, start 100 pm EST ( win) LAR @ ARZ Dec 6, start 405 pm EST ( win)ARZ @ NYG Dec 13, start 100 pm EST ( win) PHI @ ARZ Dec 20, start 405 pm EST ( win) SF @ ARZ Dec 27, start TBD ( win) ARZ @ LAR Jan 3, start 425 pm EST (loss)

For Forum fans that fear SEA's WR Metcalf, watch how LAR's CB Ramsey mostly shuts down the big man at last weekend's SEA @ LAR game. Metcalf is rarely targeted and pulls in just 2 passes all day. Wilson still manages to connect with other receivers on many pass plays, but Ramsey put the brakes on Metcalf's performance. I don't know who the Cardinals have that can throttle Metcalf at TNF. PP21 maybe can take away some route space but not all of it. Metcalf is a concern and can't be ignored. We did well against him the first game and now VJ has the task of maintaining that coverage and trying to figure a way to stop Tyler Lockett. Our secondary's ability to give these small, speedy possession recievers lined up in the slot lots of cushion and yards after the catch is getting pretty old. At some point in time you have to chuck them at the line and hope to throw them off their routes.

Metcalf was almost always the one initiating contact with Ramsey, sometimes appearing to push off the DB to make space. The Refs let them play. Lockett separates well and pulled in 200 yards, mostly on long bombs, versus the Cardinals on 25 Oct. VJ is forced to pick his poison at TNF. Or, he can try to put Wilson down. I mean that literally. Take Wilson out and there is no SEA air raid.

If the game was Sunday he would probably go but that’s something to keep an eye out for. He didn’t practice Monday or yesterday. If he don’t go today than it’s 50/50 chance he won’t go

Their backs are against the wall at home vs the cardinals, who just handed them the first lossof their skid. If they lose here, it's going to get interesting. Too bad Minny didn't beat Seattle. But, if Lockett can't go I think we got a pretty good chance. They haven't been the same without Carson (who got hurt early vs cardinals).
