I hate this loss as much as anyone and frankly we should have won it, but we didn't. I spoke of this in the power rankings thread. At times we are dam good and it looks like we could beat anyone. Other times, it looks like we are a joke. Its Jekyll and Hyde. Who are we? The jury is out....are we contenders or pretenders. We will know by the end of the season. KK is almost an oxymoron. Is he a genius or an idiot.... I don't know. I will say this for him and you can't question it. He took NFL's worst team and made them relevant. For a rookie HC, you got to give him that. I don't know what the future holds....but I know this season has given me more excitement, good and bad, since the Cardiac Cardinals days. At least I'm waking up Sunday morning and wondering what the hell will happen....its fun... A long time Cardinal fan that will enjoy any thrill I can get.

Didn't you see, Flores had a lot less talent and still won? And Rhule almost took out KC? If you can't see it by now you never will. How many picks and players they accumulate after tanking? A ton. Less talent? They have some talent for sure. Miami is a great upcoming team. If they miss a fg and we make it, we will all hail KK. Guess KK has to play defense and kicker too. Not me, the verdict has been in for me for a while.

Defensive TD. KK for allowing that to happen. And missing the FG. Rhule is an offensive minded coach. Yet every year, his defense drastically improved at Baylor, with minimal talent upgrades. KK's never did. This isn't just on Joseph. KK's college teams never played defense. He's the head coach. He's responsible for defense. I get it. You like the tight pants. I'd prefer wins.

Kliff Kingsbury
the field goal was too far
Go for it on 4th and inches
Win the game not tie it
Learn Man Kingsbury still has a lot to learn too many penalties. Clock Management a mess at time
Zane is not that reliable

By chance, have you had a chance to read the KK thread about his background via FLCF? Its pretty enlightening. KK has his strengths. He's adaptable, he's willing to borrow ideas, and he's definitely elevated our offense. However, I'm starting to wonder if he has the self awareness to realize that his mind is not within the moment. The dude is in the clouds, concocting whatever crazy play is required to get us the win. But he isn't seeing the issues right in front of his face on the field. He has been genuinely unaware of the crucial issues that are at play on the field, which can be costly. Icing our own kicker last week was a good example

Rookie crap.
KK owns this loss and before you say the defense sucked, which they did, he's the head coach.

Too many of you slept on the Dolphins. I've been apprehensive of them for two weeks. I figure we'd lose 1 to either Dolphins or Bills. I still hope that's the case. NFL is hard.
I will take these games last 2 years any day of the week over 2018, or like 99% of the Cardinals existence.
Short memories some of you have. This year is not supposed to be a SB year. It's a growing year and we are doing just that.
Next year and counting is when the marbles are in.

Defensive TD. KK for allowing that to happen. And missing the FG. That's 10 points MIA were gifted on Sunday. The Cardinals cannot make negative scoring errors and expect to win close games. And because the Cardinals cannot dominate anyone, all Cardinals v. (fill in the blank) games are close by definition.

Kyler Murray is killing it every weekend now. He looks exhausted at the end of games. If just 2-3 more guys on both the O and D worked as effectively as Kyler, the Cardinals could be 8-0.
2 of the 3 losses so far this year are because too may players are doing dumb stuff again and again.
When does player accountability kick in? Offsides penalties should cause escalator fines.
Kingsbury and Keim can work that out.

Did you read Kingsbury's chalk board in his office? Sure looks like you have an insider. End Zone I am just afraid of a flat start and performance coming off the big W over the Sea Chickens and the bye week. I had a horrible feeling that we would piss away another home game against a team we should beat and behold our team delivered as expected on Sunday ! We need to start cutting players right now for not being mentally prepared and not disciplined so please pardon my French : 1. Dopey players on defense jumping offside and keeping the Dolphins in short yardage situations. We did it twice on one drive !!!!
2. Why is Andy Isabella active on game day ....he cannot catch and when he had the chance to make a first down he decided to go backwards !
3. I have been screaming and wanting us to have a big bruising running back to take care of the short yardage situations and we keep failing with these small guys
4. When we have 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 the only person who should have the ball in their hands to determine what to do is Kyler.
5. This team is acting like they are legends in their own mind. This team has done squat as far as I am concerned this season.
6. KK needs to stop using that same running play that goes parallel to the line of scrimmage and call plays that go north and south
7. I have submitted my application to replace both Steve Keim as GM and KK as coach and lead this team to the Promised Land and a Super Bowl

At the macro level, the SEA and MIA games were almost mirror images, but with different outcomes. Scores, plays, and mental errors are nearly identical. So, what was learned from the SEA game and applied at MIA game? I have to say, probably not much. It seems to me that Kingsbury is satisfied with the process he has now and is accepting of whatever the players can do.
Isaiah Simmons' and Jalen Thompson's 1st half hard work contributed and kept scores close. But execution downfalls by several other key players and poor game management decisions at key times by the coaches led to repeated MIA successes and eventually scores. Joseph mostly kept Tua T in the pocket and forced him to make accurate throws...which he did repeatedly v. stumbling Cardinals DBs and zone defenses. Tua has won his first two starts v. reasonably good defenses (LAR and ARZ). If he keeps up this winning trend, MIA is going places in January.
I am very concerned about ARZ player discipline on the Defensive line. There is a coaching problem and a player intelligence problem that does not seem to have changed in a positive way since the 2019 season. Simple technique things are not getting done right by individuals or by 2-3 guys with their hands in the dirt next to each other, or getting done half-assed leading to ill-timed penalties or the Offense hitting gaps and making big plays.
I'm closing down this thread and moving it to the archive. Someday, we'll play MIA again. Since 1972, the Cardinals have managed only 3 wins v. MIA. Maybe the 4th win will happen before 2072. I wouldn't put any money on a new ARZ v. MIA bet until the Cardinals figure out how to win consistently.
