Week 6 of the 2020 NFL Season
10/11/2020 Through 10/19/2020
Your Arizona Cardinal travel to Arlington Texas to play a Monday Night Game against their long time rivals The Dallas Cowboys
Kickoff is set for 8:15 EST
The Arizona Cardinals (3-2) are coming off perhaps their strongest performance of the season. They defeated the New York Jets 30-10 in an away game this past Sunday.
The Dallas Cowboys (2-3) are coming off a win at home on a last second field goal to defeat the New York Giants 37-34. Greg Zuerlein kicked the game winning field goal.
Key Injury developments for both teams
Cardinals:
Chandler Jones OLB of the Cardinals may be out for the season with possibly a torn bicep or similar injury. I saw him ask other players to push against his arms and he went to the bench in obvious pain. Coach Kliff Kingsbury expressed that it might be a season ending injury
Rashard Lawrence DL for the Cardinals rolled his ankle in the game. His status is unknown at this time.
Cowboys:
Dallas's Dak Prescott their star quarterback went down today with an apparent very serious ankle injury. He is scheduled to have surgery tonight on the ankle. I will provide updates during the week. His season may be over as well.
A complete injury update for both teams will be provided during the week.
In Head to Head Dallas matchups, Dallas leads the series between the two teams with 56 wins 31 losses and 1 tie

IMO...the injuries on either team are gonna mean squat for this game...CJ has been non-existent for the 1st part of season...although i believe he is essential to to this team in the long run...he is a rock and Dak has passed for more more yards in the 1st 3 or 4 games than the law allows....but Andy won their game today
so in short...they will shame us on Monday .....but it is 2020.....so anything can happen..right we just beat the worst unit in the NFL...SB bound..no doubt

I was raised in the day of Cardinal football that a win over the Dallas Cowboys meant you had a good season.
There weren't many wins, but boy were they sweet when they happened....remember that big win on Monday night in the 70's?

I only remember one......unfortunately the one that by FLCardinalFan brought up was when I was in the military and out of country. However I do remember this one.... Monday November 17 1977
The Monday Night announcers were Frank Gifford, Howard Cosell and Dandy Don Meredith ( former Cowboy QB ) Love or hate that trio, they made Monday night games more of a spectacle and something you had to tune in to. Other than some of our wins on the way to the SB, this Monday night win was about as satisfying as it gets.

That was the very first season of Monday night football in 1970.

Thanks for posting this video. As mentioned in my above post, I did not get to see that game. The first thing I see in that video is someone I had forgotten all about....Johnny Roland. Maybe he wasn't one the best, but he was pretty darn good and had a nice career.

if it aint since 88...its not the PHX or AZ cards You know, I really never have thought about it, but for those of you who were not fans of the St Louis Cardinals....you may never understand why we old timers hate the Cowboys so much....
