So the trade deadline is at the end of the month. Do you guys see us making any moves before then? Bleacher Report has a weekly column about this very topic. bleacherreport.com/articles/2912061-nfl-trade-block-big-board-entering-week-5Weird rumors about Atlanta shopping Julio. This has since been shot down as a hoax, but given Ridleys emergence, and their relative dumpster fire of a season, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a rebuild, starting at the top. Can't see them letting Julio go. But what about Hayden Hurst? Same thing for Houston... Cap space works issues with the Vikings... What was NE asking for Joe Thuney?

This will be a tough year because we likely still have 'believers' in our team and coaching staff. I'm not one of them. Over the last few weeks, I believe myself, and others who never like the KK hire have been vindicated. So where do we go from here?
I've been on this board for around 5 years or so, and one fight members have had ad naseum is to tank or not to tank. To be clear, I'm not in favor of that this year. That being said, I don't see us doing squat this year and we might as well make it a 'developmental' year. That means playing Simmons through growing pains and knowing it could cost us some gains. I also think we should be looking for our next coach. Therein lies the connundrum. What happens if we view this season as what it's likely to be... development.
I don't think anyone on the team is untouchable...not even Hopkins. But even thought Hopkins value has never been higher, forget moving him for a kings ransom, it would kill our cap. So the two questions we should be asking are:
1. Who can we move? 2. Who is likely to leave if KK ultimately gets canned?
I'll have more thoughts on this later, but I'll leave you guys with this. We had a ton of folks who argued that defensive minded coaches are a waste and that offense was the way to go. Well, we tried that with KK and how has it worked? You can average 30 plus ppg and it doesn't matter if you don't have the 'leadership' traits required to run the entire team. My original desire was to go after Matt Rhule instead of KK. I'm going to have to do some thinking about a serious replacement, before I think about potential trades, because with COVID messing with the college season, I don't trust this years results. Forget Urban Meyer. He's got his own set of baggage and he wants the Cowboys job. I'm also not sold on Lincoln Riley. Dabo is great but he isn't going anywhere.
What do you guys think about signing San Francisco's D-Coordinator?

Trade Patrick Peterson for Julio! A guy can dream.. The time to trade Patrick Peterson passed 2 seasons ago, and certainly prior to the PED 6-game suspension. PP21's trade value is way down now. No team will hand over any player or draft pick for PP21 now. Steve Keim will sign PP21's 2020 paychecks through December, then it's bye-bye PP21. We all loved PP21's first NFL years and the years on D paired with Tyrann Mathieu.

Been watchin' Honey Badger now he's with the Chiefs. All the rest of this is pipe dreams and wishes. Do agree though that if PP21 does not step it up he's done as Cardinal. That play against the Panthers when he ran to the opposite side of the field when the pass was clearly coming to his side and the the one the panthers scored on was a real stinker play for PP21. He left his side of the field wide open as he was 20 yds away from where he should've been and with his back to the play cause he was headed for the opposite sideline. Play by PP@!.

www.nfl.com/news/falcons-must-be-open-to-full-rebuild-following-firingsPer link "The Falcons shouldn't slam the door on moving other assets, too. A Miami Dolphins-style roster deconstruction might seem unappealing on paper, but teams that accumulate bountiful assets can accelerate their rebuilds with smart hiring and good draft decisions. Jones would surely be attractive to a contending team right now. The Falcons have to at least listen if someone calls. It is trading short-term pain -- a sell-off would almost certainly torpedo interim coach Raheem Morris' chance to win the job full-time -- for the potential of long-term, sustained gain." Let the trades begin... What would it take to get Julio?

Alex Mack would be sweet. We need all the help that we can get in the middle of our line. He's on the older side, but maybe that makes him expendable?

It'll never happen, but given Dak's injury, we could probably pull off a Herchel Walker type deal right now, if we wanted to. I always felt Murray was going to end up back home anyways.

Not that I want him, or his salary, but the Jets might move LB.

We had Tom Banks back then he was an All Pro Center.

Alex Mack would be sweet. We need all the help that we can get in the middle of our line. He's on the older side, but maybe that makes him expendable? Here are the two deal breakdowns Hopkins- Johnson Trade Stephone Diggs to Buffalo trade DeAndre Hopkins to the Cardinals plus a 4th rd pick in the 2020 NFL draft The Texans receive RB David Johnson a 2nd rd pick and a 4th rd pick in the 2021 NFL DRAFT Stephon Diggs to The Buffalo Bills The Minnesota Vikings receive The Bills 1st rd pick #22 overall The Bills 4th, 5th and 6th rd picks in the 2020 NFL Draft The Buffalo Bills receive Stephone Diggs and a 7th rd pick How have the trades worked out? Stephon Diggs has 26 receptions , 403 yards and 2 TDS. Justin Jefferson was the player the Vikings drafted with that 22nd overall pick. He has played very well in his last two games week 3 9 receptions 173 yards Week 5 5 for 103 yards Cardinals trade: DeAndre Hopkins leads the NFL in receptions with 45 receptions 528 yards and 2 TDS after week 5 Rashard Lawrence our 2nd 4th rd pick has 3 tackles and 1 asst. < GREAT VALUE HERE FOLKS
Houston Texans David Johnson RB ranks 17th with 293 yds 3.9 yd avg and 2 TDS 11 receptions 107 yards 9.7 per catch 0 TDS for an FYI Kyler Murray ranks 16th
Ross Blacklock DL who the Texans drafted
with the 2nd round pick from the Cardinals has 3 tackles 1 solo and 2 assts. The lone remaining question Who will the Texans draft in the 4th rd in the 2021 draft? Or will they trade the pick? Cardinals A+ BILLS A Vikings B+ Texans C- Ross Blacklock is the one player who may save this trade. from being an F.

If I am Steve Keim and I want to be in the playoffs
I am out looking to trade for inside offensive linemen
Centers, and both guards especially right guard.
I am still looking for a serviceable cornerback
Dre Kirkpatrick 38.2 rating doesn't cut it
