I see a pattern here. So far we have beaten the teams that have some form of red and gold colors and we have lost to teams that have silver and blue. We haven’t tested the color green yet so don’t have a sample size on that as it will tell us in week 7 if it is the blue or the green. However we are doomed in week 6 against the Cowboys. Not sure if we can win in week 8 might be tough against our opponent since there isn’t enough data on invisible opponents.

pathetic wasn't it though? Was at the game. Fitz fave my son his gloves before kickoff. Class act. I blame coaching. Dink and dunk Offense. Soft defense. This teams hit nobody in the mouth. All game, just soft. Not an NFL team right now. Soft, soft, soft Glad you had a chance to go to the game And you and your son got Fit's gloves Congrats to him That made it better for your son and you. Gives us your take on the game in the forum Love to see behind the scenes.

Had that sinking feeling the 1st pass K1 threw at Fitz. 3 feet over a leaping Larry's stretched out arms. Just went down hill from there. At this moment in schedule time this is not a playoff team. Not even close. But hey 2-2 is better than 0-3-1 vs last year. Having 2 starters and # 1 back up Safety out in the secondary exposed the D. Sad thing was the the Panthers Left side of the O-line was their back ups. Yet no real pressure on Bridgewater. He ate our lunch and then handed us back the empty bag.

Gives us your take on the game in the forum Love to see behind the scenes. Just got home. Atmosphere: Great to see fans in a stadium. Way quieter than normal but oddly, the stadium left the lights on. And you could hear the buzzing of the lights all game. Highly irritating. Pa Thera fans seemed jovial to be there. Lots of dancing, hooting and hollering. They were having fun. Our offense running the football. Feels like a college offense. I think we miss Max Williams blocking a lot. Teams are happy to let us run 2 to 3 yards every carry. The O line is not getting to the second level enough. Not a super athletic bunch outside of Hump. Our offense throwing the ball. The first series of game, Fitz sat down 15 yards deep in a zone all by himself and Kyler overthrew him. Where Lamar Jackson can’t throw outside the numbers well, Kyler struggles to see and throw inside of them. He frequently sails balls inside because he has to clear the line. His height is a problem until he learns to move laterally in the pocket better. For such a nimble guy his pocket feel is not the best. He evacuates the pocket like a missile but sometimes you need to hang in to give your receivers a chance. Also, when Kyler does roll out of the pocket it seems like everything is always covered. Yet when Bridgewater rolled out the weak side all game was open. Kliff really just called a terrible game. Super predictable offensively right now. Our defense Massive substitutions all game. Never certain what personnel he wanted to roll with. I watched him put Simmons in and pull him before the snap at least 4 times. Reddick was confused a lot in coverage. Hicks is a great run stopping LB but a terrible pass defender. PP21 has lost a step. He could t hang with Robbie In a foot race. Highly concerning. Murph plays aggressive but lack of pass rush us him on an island a lot. Basically the defense feels lacking athleticism and play makers. Missed Buddha today for sure. Simmons needs to see the field. We need his speed and game changing athleticism and soon. Our Defense feels old and predictable. Never saw a successful blitz. I miss the attacking 3/4 defenses. Where LBs split A gaps and we hit QBs in the mouth. This defense feels like sit and wait opposed to dictating the game themselves. 3rd and long is a major issue with our soft zones. Can’t run soft zones with a slow MLB like Hicks. All in all, team is far away. I see a 6 and 10 season ahead of us. My biggest takeaways..... 1. Kyler MUST learn to throw between 8 yards and 20 yards with touch down the middle of the field, without overthrowing them. 2. Defense MUST take it too teams instead of reading and reacting. 3. Run game misses Max Williams big time

We are tackling poorly, so slow on defense Budda Baker and Devon Kennard were missed today as was Maxx Williams. Curtis Riley was not the answer. He got beat like a rented mule. Poor pass protection, Kyler took a lot of hits today. WRs are not blocking & of course O line is not blocking.

Ugly game.
Panthers defense is decent but the offense should not have put 31 points on us.
KK called conservative, short yardage plays. I wasn’t happy with the play calling on offense. But Kyler did have his best QBR of the season, 118 I think. 3 TDs, 24/31 passing, no INTs. He was hit but sacked only once. And he ran 6 times for an amazing 13 yards per carry. We put up 21 points on a decent defense despite not having the ball a lot.
We didn’t have the ball a lot because the defense let a poor offense march on them again and again. Missing Baker and Thompson. As I’ve always said, we should have traded PEDerson when we could have gotten a high pick and saved $20 million to spend elsewhere. He’s fortunate he was behind the receiver on a massively overthrown ball so he could get an INT that was easy as fielding a punt. He got to smile and dance and pose for a picture. The rest of the game he looked slow. Our other team leader on defense, Chandler Jones, continues to be quiet. Our first round draft pick on the bench for guys I haven’t heard of.
I put this on Vance Joseph. KK is the offense team builder and leader and play caller. We knew this when he came in. Vance is supposed to be the experienced NFL guy. I had hope after the first two games. Maybe Vance really did just need a few more defensive pieces. He got a ton in free agency and the draft. Nope, his defense has been horrible two weeks in a row.

All game long I saw receivers open in the middle of the field. How often do you see Kyler hit a receiver in stride in the middle of the field. Right now he throws outs, button hooks, screens and deep balls. No slants ever. No Ins. No posts. Sometimes he will hit a vert up the seam. He is just not seeing the field well. Panthers zone was allowing over the LBs under the safeties but Kylers not confident in that throw. We will see this D a lot until he figures it out.
