put in the cheerleaders. they can lose just like the real team but work much cheaper. with what we save on the cap the nfl is gonna force us to spend a ton to make up for it and we can use the money to buy a real coach and gm and some free agents to get the job done next year maybe. last week was an embarrassment. and all the coach seen was trying too hard, doing too much, way more than enough. he made, cant remember if it was bugel or tobin, seem like a pessimist. there was nothing positive to take from the last game, nothing to build on. he cant fix the problem if he cant even see the problem. if next game is like last game its not a rebuilding year, its a starting from scratch year. at this rate maybe we should be hopeing for a strike so maybe the replacemnts can get a win.

I expect our D to play much better. They have to clean up the positioning and keep DBuck cleaner. Doable. On O they have to stretch the field. It was amazing how small the field the O created for the Washington D to actually defend. Hard to know if Bradford has PSD syndrome or McCoy is clueless. To be determined. If it's Bradford Wilks better show he won't tolerate it and get Glennon in the game right away. If it's McCoy WIlks should take over the play calling and replace him after the game. There is no reason to let a mercenary mistake ruin this team or a bad hire ruin Wilks job. This is what Wilks is getting paid for. Take control of the team. You have 3 QB"s and you have a good football mind. Don't let an assistant coach get you fired.

When Parcells was HC of the Jets and Charlie Weiss was the OC he got pissed at the play calling and took it over in game 2 of the 1999 season. That was the year after the lost to the SB champs in the AFC Championship game and had a very high powered passing game. Parcells came up through the ranks on the D side of the ball. He wasn't about to let an OC even a proven one like Weis screw up his team. You don't get a lot of chances to be an NFL head coach. If you don't control your own destiny when things are screwed up you're done. |
