With the Jets starting Darnold last night to much success, does anyone think Wilks may be tempted to hand the QB job over to Rosen this week or next? (Rams definitely not the easiest game to start your career with) I’d definitely be tempted if Bradford plays like he did against Washington again

Just because the Jets started, and had success with Darnold starting..that doesnt mean Rosen would.
1. Im not sure if any QB on this roster will be successful with Mike Mccoy as OC 2. Rosen doesnt seem ready
I was a huge Darnold fan pre-draft. Still am. Im 0% surprised he looks good already. That guy is special. No question hes a star. I never felt that way about Rosen. I hope he will be. But right now I think its best for him to sit.

Josh Rosen starting sooner than later might be our best hope for avoiding impending local media blackouts. I suppose he'll reinvigorate ticket sales whenever he starts, but I'm concerned that if we continue on this trajectory we will plummet back into the "dark ages". In the words of Donald Trump "We'll see what happens".

If Rosen needs a couple years I'd rather have Lamar Jackson and Bradford for a couple years. I agree with the poster above Darnold did appear to be special as a Pac 12 fan but Rosen never was that for me. LJ is a different story.

Please no, at least not against the Rams. Cardinals have a history with the Rams with regards to Cards QB's getting hurt. And that defense, no thanks! Can you believe they went after Mack? Just think if they ended up signing that guy, WOW! But anyway, my personal opinion is this. I hope Sam Bradford stays healthy all year and Rosen rides the bench all year long. I would like the team to take it slow. Then next year, name him the starter and have him go through the first string reps all through off season, pre-season and then regular season. Winning is not a priority this year IMO. So no need to push it.
Wilks is just starting, so he has a lot of cushion to have a bad year. Jets, their HC is on the hot seat and they need to see results one way or another.

I can't think of a better mentor than Sam Bradford. Sam is a financial genius.

Couldn’t be a worse team to throw into a game than Week 2 vs the Rams. We’d best pray Sam survives it so we aren’t forced to play Rosen too soon.
At this point, it was one game that went horribly. Let’s see what happens through the first half of the season. This year is about learning new schemes and finding out what we have, before throwing in Rosen and spending a bunch of cap next year. If we feel the Oline and Rosen are BOTH ready for him to be out there, then and only then do I want to see him on the field. Not because of injury or desperation.

I wish Palmer had stayed around to mentor Rosen.

They let a surefire win slip thru their hands even With K Mack. The Bears still have holes, especially on the O side of the ball.
