What's up fellas? Long time listener, first time poster.
After spending some time scowering the roster cuts, a few names popped up that I found interesting. Here's some of the guys the Cards should take a look at:
TJ Clemmings G/T - a former 4th round pick with Minny. Raw talent, never actualized. Could give us more depth, and far better than Munyer.
Kendall Wright WR - a former 1st rounder who's NEVER had QB to throw to him. I guarantee he's better than JJ "brick hands" Nelson.
Xavier Su'a'Filo G - a former 2nd rounder who never lived up to his potential. Probably not a great pick up, but worth the look.
Guys that were interesting cuts but we don't need:
Luke Falk QB - Dang that was quick
Logan Woodside QB - I hope he makes a PS. I'm routing for the guy.
Dorian Johnson G - Some guys have it, and then there's Dorian.

Hello Raze! Good to see you post! I just posted that I think Munyer is the 1st of the 1st set of 53 that gets cut and replaced by a waiver pick up. And that waiver pick up does not have to be another O-lineman either. Will need to look up this Kendal Wright since we only have 5 WRs.

Raze great to see you posting here on the new fan forum and I agree with all 3 of your selections for SK to place a call and bring them in for workout. TJ Cummings has got to be better than Holden and he could be another talented guy who is better at guard than tackle though. I've always like your evaluations on OL talent as your "sleeper" OL before the draft was Mason Cole and right now that is looking pretty good.
Another player SK should look at is David Amerson CB who is only age 26 and played well enough a few years ago that the Raiders paid him $30M ... he has got to be better than Brandon Williams.

Thanks for the welcome fellas. Good to see you RimRock, JosephII, and Surprise (Give me time on the name change. I've been calling you Surprise for too long now) I'm pretty surprised to see Brandon Williams make the cut. Wilks being a specialist on DBs makes it even more interesting. I guess he sees something we don't. I find it interesting WISK will cut Campbell and keep BW. The argument could be made that they don't want to cut him because we drafted him, but Campbell (at DB) and Dorian Johnson (a 4th rounder) seem to contradict that stance. I'm guessing he's showing just enough palpable potential to keep. I've been excited to see Mason Cole flourishing. He still has raw moments, but he's a heady guy with a TON of passion. EXACTLY what I want from a C. (Thanks for the props. Just don't remind everyone I liked Dorian Johnson too). Nice spot on Amerson. I missed him. Although his play has been horrible as of late Wilks has shown a propensity for taking talented DBs and molding them into gems. I don't see why we shouldn't take a look at him.

I think the difference with Brandon Williams is that he was such a reach and baffling pick that Keim is more determined to prove it was right. At this point, that isnt even a valid reason. He literally has not done one thing to prove he deserves a roster spot. They kept a ton of DB’s. Penny has shown to be a valuable back up running back, back up full back now and makes plays on special teams. Not often do I get too upset at cuts, but that one sucks.

Why do you say this? Holden has not disappointed for a 5th rd pick.

Why do you say this? Holden has not disappointed for a 5th rd pick. I didn't think Holden played that well when he got his chance ... here is a Redskins writer who claomored a few months ago to move TJ Cummings to guard as he has athletic ability -- TJ Cummings - Move to Guard ?

Moot point now that he's gone.

I would rather have Davis Webb on PS than Kanoff.
