I would like to see positivity, few mental errors, and a good performance from Rosen and Bradford. I want to see everyone play well but I'm sure I will be banging my head a good portion of the game.... a win is a plus but everyone knows it doesn't mean anything.

I want to see Rosen run the offense. Dink n Dunk and run the BALL! The defense could be fun to watch, really depends on CB#2..So I’m kinda worried...

I want to see some of the young players impress because their development will be difference between the Cards winning 6-7 games or 9-10 games.
- Rosen - obvious
- Mason Cole
- Reddick -- can he become Daryl Washington 2.0 ?
- TJ Logan/Edmonds -- also want to see Logan on kickoff returns.
- Ricky Seals - Jones -- if he has a breakout season, then this team will be right there at end of season to win NFC West.
- Nkemdiche -- is the new "shoot the gap" defense built for him to succeed because if he doesn't, then his NFL career is like sour milk with a short expiration date left.
- Kirk/Chad Williams/JJ Nelson -- can one of these three show something to give us hope ?
- Wilks and Dave Merrritt have history of developing mid and late round picks to quality CB's -- is Chris Campbell from Penn State the pleasant surprise from this year's draft ?

No. DWash was amazing. Not to be dramatic, but if he played a full 12 years, he mightve been a HOF'r. He was so good. Reddick just needs to become adequate first. In principle, I dont believe in projects. Because you cant learn how to do something, on the biggest stage there is. Learn how to be a LB, while facing elite offensive talent. They will eat you alive. I think Reddick can become OK someday, maybe even good. But he will never be a pro bowler.

I wanna see Rosen look like he's gonna be the man some day. I wanna see how the players have adapted to the change from a 3-4 to a 4-3, including what the pass rush looks like. I wanna see ONE WR not named Larry shining like a diamond in a goat's butt. I'm REAL interested in seeing Chase in action, as well as Logan and Foster...and it'd be nice to see that we have a good FB. I enjoy seeing competence in the execution of plays instead of the opposite.

When I was a season ticket holder I witnessed one of the greatest athletes I've seen on a football season. He was an athletic freak but he choose another path. As far as Reddick I think he can become an above average LB with an outside shot as a pro bowler. He has great work ethic and attitude. Experience will serve him well.

It was his instincts that made him special. His athleticism just enabled him to reach those instincts full potential. Very similar to pre-injury Tyrann. Reddick may have DWash athleticism, but he will never have his instincts. It cant be taught or even gained with playtime. While Reddick is standing there thinking, DWash would already be sprinting downfield. You may be right, possibly Reddick reaches a pro bowl someday. But he will never be Wash. Nobody will ever be Wash.

All new QBs, all new coaches, lots of new players, all new schemes. We have to be realistic. I’ll be happy to have 11 men on the field each play, few bonehead penalties and no injuries.
But as I said earlier, I want to see some sense of quality coaching and formation of a true team of guys who want to play for them and each other. In preseason though, it’s about landing a job.

Bah! I was looking forward to going to this game to see Rosen play quality minutes but a close friend heads back home across the world early Sunday so I'll be spending time with him and his wife before they leave. I thought they were leaving the 15th for some reason. That's alright, I'll see if I can record the game and get to ultimately enjoy spending time with both.
Ahem,
I was always really interested in seeing how Rosen plays above all else but now it's even more important to see how Cole does for obvious reasons so subjects of greatest interest:
1. How Rosen and Cole debut
2. How the starting OL performs over all for the time they're out there.
3. How WRs other than Fitz perform and hopefully a couple stand out from the pack.
4. How Edmonds and TJ do (it'd be interesting to see DJ and Edmonds out together already but probably want to save that for real games)
5. If Seals-Jones takes it to the next level (through out the pre-season)
6. If Nkemdiche and Reddick can make impact plays and the former showing his worth at last (I'm in the camp of not yet thinking he's a bust, huge year for him)
7. If we can find a stand out at CB2 and how the secondary over all meshes together with Baker taking on a larger role and Boston being added to the mix along with the CB2
I have confidence in Wilks, with everything I've read of his demeanor in camp, I think he won't just look like Denzel, he'll resemble him in Remember the Titans Strict, almost militarist discipline. Cool under pressure.
This is the year I was finally able to get two seats together in the premium section (129)! I had to get pushed back 5 rows and a little to the side from dead in the middle to make it happen but it'll be worth it to finally get to watch games with someone instead of sitting solo haha Now I can be patient and start moving closer to the grass moving forward. Can't wait for the season to start! FF is also a huge hobby of mine so September always launches two great interests at once. It's Football time, baby! Go Cards!

I'm not sure why there's so much interest in the #2 CB tbh. For some reason that's being talked up as this big TC battle but it really isn't. Jamar Taylor SHOULD win that spot unless something goes horribly wrong. He's an okay option too. All he really needs to do is be average, considering the rest of our secondary is strong with PP, Budda, Boston and Bethea. Plus Benwikere I think is a solid #3/4 Nickel type guy. So I'm feeling good about that part of the team. No chance Brandon Williams wins it.
Main things I'm interested in:
- The offensive line: this is the big one that can make or break our season. I really hope we see a solid line that can protect Bradford.
- Haason Reddick: how he progresses. If he can live up to some of his potential and we get Golden back to form, all the sudden this defense looks lethal.
- Who can step up in the receiving game. If we can get something out of Brice Butler or Seals-Jones as a legit #3 threat, then our offense looks dangerous. The talent is there, just need to put it together.
And really I just hope guys like Bradford, Johnson, Fitz, Peterson, Baker, Bethea, Buc, Bynes, Jones, Peters don't play much in the preseason.
