TBD.
Edit 7/27: Have a sinking feeling it may be Trayvon Williams, but really it is too soon to be very sure of anyone.

Josh Allen?
...I didn't actually mean that. Even if (as reported) the brass really was "heartbroken" over Denver's last second decision not to trade picks, I'm really glad it didn't go that way.

Definitely SK. All players are replaceable.
The GM is critical to personnel decision-making during TC and final roster moves. Fortunately SK's "sentence" is just 48 hours in the slammer, 5 weeks no-contact, plus community service.
Meanwhile, the Prez and the Acting GM did a nice job picking up Tre Boston this past week.

Depending on how Andre Smith works out, it might be Veldheer. I know he was pretty dreadful at RT but I always had faith he would turn it around with enough experience, and who knows if Humphries will ever make it through a full season

Valdeer. I just can't see Smith as being better or as good as him. Never was even in his good playing days. Which I might add are two years ago. Last two years Smith hasn't been very good at RT.

He's now one year older trying to collect more money with the Broncos. He is also injury prone at his age and will not play more then 8 games this year. He stinks and I'm glad he's gone. Keim is the biggest loss. His selfish decision causes a lot of angst for a team with a first year coach. Thanks Steve!!

When i read this thread title my heart dropped. You could use the same title for a core players season ending injury occuring.

Other: Combo effects of 4 of the above; of BA and CP's retirements coupled with Honey Badger's bad agent advice and topped off by SK's Major blunder.
Not sure any 1 of the 4 mentioned top the other 3, imho.

Yeah it really baffles me why they didn't bring back Williams at CB.1st time ever it feels like we had a solid guy on the other side of P2.

Wiliams was pretty solid, and in his place we have a solid question mark - At this point (before actually watching our cb2 getting burned by wr3s) I'm really hoping (believing?) that Steve Wilks can help the guys on the roster who are younger, faster and stronger perform better and longer than a guy in his last couple seasons in the league.
The Veldheer loss is real. I'm having a hard time working Andre Smith into the narrative of our improved o-line. Is Smith more likely to get injured than Veldheer? I don't know, but after playing only 50% of the last 4 years, I'm prepared for the familiarity of Wetzel.
The Tyrann Mathieu loss sucked. Does ill will over him accepting less money to play for Houston really make it better? Screw that guy... I guess it does help a little! I think he's going to have a good season in Houston, he's going to be a big personality in the NFL, a fan favorite and a team leader for a while and through it all I'll have to do the run-down of why he was wrong for the Cardinals. He was a BA guy (Steve Wilks would have still been an exciting factor), The Honey Badger wasn't the Honey Badger (until he is, for the Texans), we'll be fine without him (Budda's terrific, this argument might hold up), he cost an impossible amount of money (who's fault was it that he became the highest paid safety in the NFL coming off his injury?) and he developed a bad attitude/didn't believe in the Cardinals (somehow that makes it suck less?).
I vote Mathieu
