Rim, thanks for posting the injury updates. The ARI owie list is typical for midseason. The list could be much, much worse considering the 1-6 record. No player has given up yet. PP21 came close this week. It's still hard to believe this group of pros and coaches is performing so badly week to week. Just a bad 2018 mixture, I guess. Things will improve within 10 months (2019 season kickoff)..

I don't mind breaking the tie. Cards took 'em at their place last time, Cards had extra time to get it together, and...… well...it just feels like a decent way to celebrate the AXING of McCoy. In the meantime, I'm hoping DJ isn't the one they opt to keep in the backfield to block because of the poor O line. I hope Byron Leftwich starts off with a bang... or at least a pop.
Me too. I have never seen him make a sustained block on anyone, yet. In fairness though that may have been mostly McCoy's design, but it allowed opponents to get to Rosen too often for my taste. Which begs the question, why wasn't Coleman in to block? He Is the FB. In fact how many plays was Coleman actually in where he blocked for David? Has the Coaches wasted an O position by having a FB on the roster? Coleman, in his defense, can run and catch. So what gives?

I voted for a win. But the decision was very close. The 49ers just have to clean up their past turnover problems to end the head to head losing streak. The Cards have 9+ days to move on from McCoy's 300-page blah playbook and dull personality disorder. Leftwich can do the OC job. He cannot do worse than McCoy! The players can help Leftwich by doing their jobs better. The O Line is not going to get well in a week, or anytime this season apparently. But at least there is some hope that imagination will return to the huddle and our best players get to play football again. Go Cards. I would like to see the offense opened up under Bryon Leftwich. Air it out and add some trick plays along with bouncing it outside and screen passes to David Johnson. No more 1) run up the middle, 2) run up the middle, 3) run up the middle yet again at 3rd and 10, 4) punt, 5) repeat steps 1-4. You would think they would start there and if they do we should win.

Those questions should have been asked by reporters while McCoy was here. But even BA had no fullbacks, who one would think would be better able to block than most smaller RBs like we had. Palmer paid the price then.

Easy team talk from Steve Wilks before the players go out on the field this weekend...
PRIDE in the shirt you have on your back and the badge upon it of the Cardinals. - Pride for your team, pride for your fans and above all make Mr Bidwill proud.
PASSION for your own professional performance and passion to do your upmost to help your team mates.
POSITIVE in your actions and thought. Play with NO FEAR! - If we mess up in a play trying, do not worry I will back you.
*********
Performance and commitment is all what matters to me this weekend. - I am not voting in the match poll as the result is secondary. - These are the 49ers we are playing for goodness sake, always our number 1 opponent in my eyes irrespective of league standing. If the players cannot get pumped up for this one then they won't for any.
The fightback starts here - WE ARE THE CARDINALS !

MY FEAR is they beat the ever living daylights out of us with McCoy gone. That will be an ugly message to the coaching staff a bye bye message I hear there is mutiny in the nest and players are not buying into this system. We shall see BY THEE WAY I want Jason Witten so do OUR Play by play one day "What a talent in the booth" Here is a sample of his expertise. twitter.com/twitter/statuses/1052020585319018496

I think you both could easily be right here, but let's hope ...
To be honest SF need a big performance today just as much as us.
Which team 'wants it' most?
Someone could take a spanking, or alternatively the game could be a cracker, or thinking about it even a dud.
My advice: Don't put any money on the outcome, just sit back and see what happens!!
