There is a lot in our favor this week. Young QB who is shaky at best. Short week on the road. I expect a competitive game. I also expect Mack to rip Bradford's head off and chuck it at McCoy if they run the same 3 yard passing game. LOL. You're right, but if the young QB can get close enough for the Bears to kick a field goal they can rest the starters for the remainder of the game. Assuming the Bears have a decent punter who can launch some 50 something yarders after the (hopefully) many three and outs after the backups take over. |

who were the ones wanting a 2nd buy week? because that's what the cards basically are for every team on our schedule. it's not a real game, just an extended practice session for them.

the team that went 8-8 last year with backups got its starters back and are getting blown out. wilks is that bad. moral victories are mot victorys. they are distractions. WE SCORE TOUCHDOWNS 100% OF TIMES IN THE RED ZONE means diddly squat if you cant even get to the 50 yard line. whats next? the Arizona cardinals - we didn't club any baby seals today, please watch? there is no we. the team proved they are better than this last year, with backups. wilks is not better than this nor the rest of his staff. this team would do better without a coach than the coach they've got. he is actually hurting the team. we would look better if we went to sandlot football and made up plays in the huddle. it may be as hard for you to believe as it is for wilks to get to the 50, but at some point you gotta accept reality. if you find your wife in bed naked with another man they were not just trying to avoid freezing to death by sharing body heat, this is phoenix and it was 100 today. most times things are exactly what they look like. Wrong. Take a look at our lineup at the end of last season and the lineup for the first two games. The team has lots of different players on both sides of the ball. It's not remotely the same team. Game 16 last year Jaron Brown, John Brown, Gresham and Niklas all got snaps on O. On D Dansby, Mathieu, Tramon Williams all started. Frosty Rucker, Kareem Martin and Olsen Pierre were all part of the DL rotation. We were substantially better on both sides of the ball. |

Cards I believe are at the top or near the top for replacing players this year. Not a good job steve one and two. (dumb and dumber)
The Bears D is very good. So our pop Warner offense (possibly without Fitz) is going to look bad again.
I am not a fan of Trubisky. The offensive scheme Chicago has (from KC) is terrific. But Mitch messes up time and time again. Unable to hit open receivers and generally having the deer in the headlights look.
Am I saying we have a chance then?

I voted for win a couple days ago due to Monday insanity. That's the bald truth. I'm back on meds Thursday (LOL!).
Until the Cardinals offensive starts moving the chains, there is no chance this team will win a game. That's really the bottom line. The defense can do everything right each Sunday, but it won't make any difference at the end of the day if the offense is totally lifeless.
This situation is so frustrating to me. Last winter sucked as a fan. I feel like winter is already here again in September.

great, back to the kolb years where the defense outscored the offense and we never went to the playoffs. I hates kolb so much..the contract and he cost us drc. who ever thought that trade was a good idea should be fired. then taken out back and run over. then run over again. and again. then scraped up and put in the rubbish bin where their idea's belong.

Did Rosen get any Reps with the starters this week? If not then He won't play even if it's bad.
I voted for a win Rim...this time. The Bears O is avg at best. It's the Bears D that helps keep the Trubisky and friends on the field and add points to the board.
I also think Wetzel at RT is better for this O-line of ours as well. He's been grading out high for this O-line, much higher than Smith was achieving. Hopefully Wetzel wins the position and Smith becomes the back up.
If the O can score Any points in the 1st qtr Sunday then we have a chance.....and that's all I can hope for right now....

if its another stinker and cards are shutout in first half and sam starts 2nd half I would try to get EVERY card fan to LEAVE...that would get mb's attention.
