Just a heads up everyone.

I wil be working on adding a team schedule page to the forum so everyone can see dates, times, and record. It’s a custom page so I will be using more of my time doing that instead of adding features.

Please keep posting your suggestions though and I will do what I can to accommodate and change things.

Re Naming the forum:

First, is there any reason it has to have a name other than what is there already?  Keeping it simple and clean is good, and there is only limited
space to work with in the header/banner area up on top.  Too much and it looks cluttered and confusing. There is no time limit for action, either.

Otherwise, possible names would have to be checked to see whether some other team with a similar (bird?) motif  is already using that name and
has it trademarked or has a copyright, baseball and other sports teams included. I have not checked any of the names below.

The 'Phoenix' related ideas are pretty much out, since the team is NOT the Phoenix Cardinals.  The Phoenix rising aspect is nice artistically, but
does not fit with the team name, though the forum is similar to the Phoenix rising tale.

Some of the other names already proposed could work.    Here are some more to think about:

     The Birdcage, Bird Droppings (where you can find the hot poop ), Red's Outhouse (same thing), The Perch, Red's Ranch, Red's Roost, Cardinals Corner, Cardinals Nest, and my            favorite so far, The Birdhouse...  see a very shaky sketch below.  Would be better without the ugly bird and A/C unit though.   It is easy to get ridiculous like some of the preceding      names, which is another reason not having a name makes sense.



This is just one person's thinking on the subject - plenty of room for others to chime in, here or on the name thread.

I think you were, too.  And you should be able to be Barbarian again if you want - read the early "usernames" post by Rimrock
for info on changing your name after registration.
