This week has the feeling of 'crunch time' about it; win this weekend and the Cardinals are back in the driving seat with destiny in their own hands, loose it and things have well and truly come off the rails. Three successive defeats was not in the script at the Bye week.
I'm going to be bold and post my prediction up top this time. A big battle to come, but better execution on Offense and another strong showing of Defense will be enough to get us across the line.
Seahawks 17 - 23 Cardinals

Hmmm? I've been doing poorly on predictions since mid-November. I did pick the Vikings to beat the Cardinals last week, but I was wildly off on the points. I'll do better this weekend. The Cardinals have all key players ready to play the last five games of the season. Game 13 is a home game. Home games in 2025 favor the Cardinals.
So...I'm predicting a BLOWOUT!
Cardinals 35
Seahawks 10

As someone else mentioned on here, this game will show how good we are or not...
If we win this game....
Then at least we have won at minimum 1 of 2 games played against our Division Opponents. Should we beat the Rams and 49ers in the last two games of the season, then we end up sweeping one of those teams. Last season we had Zero wins against our Division Opponents...I will take that for the second year of our rebuild...we are progressing.
But just because we win this game, does not mean we will be able to win anymore games...if anyone here thinks the Panthers or Patriots are going to be an easy win, you better think twice.
Winning this game, gives us an excellent chance to end up with a 9 win season...and there is nothing wrong with that...seriously...how many of you expected us to win 9 games or less? Quite a few of you...so if we reach 9 wins, you all should be happy to see that you were wrong...
Just because we may happen to win this game does not mean that we are a true Playoff Contender. Because of the schedule that remains for our Division opponents, yes we can get lucky and slide into the Playoffs as the Division winner...but that does not mean we are a true Playoff Contender...I just don't see that yet. At first, I wasn't sure I wanted us to make the Playoffs because I thought we would get beat up pretty bad regardless of the team we play against in the Wildcard Round...but someone mentioned on here that we have a chance for the team to experience how teams play in the Playoffs...he thinks that was a good thing...and I have to agree with him...that was a great point he made.
I think we are a better team than the Seahawks...first of all, our No Name Defense held their offense to 1 Touchdown and 1 Field Goal...the only other team to hold the Seahawks to less than 20 points was the Bills who held them to 10 points. If not for the Pick Six, we might have held the Seahawks to 10 points, just like the Bills did.
I have a feeling that we will score 27+ points in this game...only because will get their act together for this game...can we hold them to 20 points or less? I hope so. But like I said, even if we win this game, I still think that we are not a true Playoff Contender at this time...but if we do make the Playoffs, the experience for the team and coaches will be a good thing regardless of how far into the Playoffs they go....
Now, if we can win this game and win our remaining games, then at that point I will think that just maybe we are a true Playoff Contender...does anyone think that can happen?
If we lose this game...
We may end up only winning 2 more games against the Panthers and Patriots....and maybe not even that...then we would end up with an 8 win season which would be a losing season...
If we lose this game, the best win record we could have would be 10 wins if we beat the Panthers, Patriots, Rams and 49ers...it's not impossible to do that...but not likely. The 49er's don't have Aiyuk or McCaffrey...hmm...maybe we can beat them...beat the Panthers and Patriots and just maybe we still end up with a 9 win season...that is of course if we lose this game against the Seahawks...
My Prediciton...
Cardinals 31 Seahawks 21
After only scoring 6 points against them last time, why would I think the Cardinals can score 31 points on them? Because I believe that we have a very strong offense that can put up the points...whether it was the Coaching or the Offense that did not perform in that game, I think they will have come up with a game plan to score points. The Seahawks have allowed 5 teams to score 26 points to 42 points on them...

Before the season began I was optimistic enough to feel that our team could win 8 games or more. That 8 Ws would be the floor. After the 4 W "streak" my optimism became bloated and I got greedy with my thinking. I felt the Cards would sweep the Hawks. Now, of course, I have settled myself down some. However....inside, I believe the Cards are in the vicinity of the competitive level of both the Hawks and Vikings. Heck. They were competitive enough to worry the Bills IMO. IN BUFFALO! Now? The braintrust of JG and Co. have to devise new ways to implement the tools at their disposal. You know, like throwing a TD to McBride for God's sake? One of the most important factors though, IMO is to keep K1's focus and TRUST in the plan. I think if he sees chinks in the armor, and cracks in the foundation starting to be revealed he could begin to wilt.

Based on everything I've read and listened to this week, HC Gannon will "Unleash The Dogs" on Sunday. He pushed his chips "All In" to win. He will "Go For It" on 4th and short this time. Be bold or go home.
OC Petzing will break the seal on the playbook pages for Playoffs games. This is our Division playoffs game. It is a "Winner Takes All" bet for the Offensive Coordinator.
DC Rallis will blitz 50% or more on QB Smith. Smith does not have RB Walker to lean on today. I expect a 75/25 pass-to-run ratio by Smith. Rallis has to pressure Smith at the right time and force Smith to make "High Risk" passes. DBs have to play man coverage today. No zone coverages!
I'm sticking with Cardinals 35, Seahawks 10. BLOWOUT!
