Our young secondary is going to get better and better. They are already good. Love seeing this!

Good-This doesn't look like the same old Cards Bad- K1 had 2 incompletions. Ugly-Jets “Little Dude” must have played too much CoD and not watched any game film to miss those two throws!

Close wins can devastate… complete domination gets people fired and players moved on from.

It was a fun game. The game commentator was literally calling our plays early and jets couldn't do **** to stop.
Kudos to Rallis imo for making this defense work with not much talent at all.

It is funny watching these replays… Tip on one of the first one’s posted earlier is down field drawing double coverage and Higgy-Bear gets the pass. Tip on the run plays seals the edge on outside zone or seals the backside on counter gap plays. He smotheres the defenders and doesn’t hold…he has a good feel on a crushing blocking without drawing flags.

He’s never the guy you watch catching or carrying the ball live. But in the replay, he’s always part of punching a hole or making a block. He’s the special sauce, the secret ingredient. The negative is when he’s in, which is often, we have our 5 Olinemen plus Tip, Murray and a RB in, leaving only three receiving weapon options, generally McBride, MHJ and Wilson. But that’s not too shabby a situation. I’d rather have Tip in their improving the pass block and run game than add Dortch to the mix of receiving options.

Dortch may be done… he isn’t a fit in this offense… getting K1 killed as he ignored the blitz and he can’t hold a sideline lane sealing block on one of the Benson’ run’s. Tip may be in reserve as a receiver or defenses are putting too much attention covering him. Jets are a bad example, but they did double cover him. He would be a nightmare in space against a DB… they can take his legs out… but they will pay with their health in the process.

He was used very little as a receiver in college and I don’t think that will change in the NFL. But if you search the limited info out there on Tip he has been used as an old school fullback, and boy would I like to see a few plays drawn up for him as a punishing ball carrier. I love the “dawg” in Dortch but I think you may be right. To keep a little speedy receiver you need to have a legit role for that type of player. It may only be special teams here, or maybe not even that.
