A superb prediction indeed, but how did she fair the previous week...? - Our top two tipsters this week retained their respective Gold and Silver positions from last time, so 'hats off' to both Flash and Card Core. Special congratulations to Flash, who for the second week in a row came very close to getting an exact prediction. GOLD MEDAL - Flash (score prediction 31 - 27) margin of 3 SILVER MEDAL - Card Core (27 - 23) margin of 5 BRONZE MEDAL - Cardinals Junkie (24 - 21) margin of 10 Honorable mention - vwvectors (27 - 17) margin of 11 There were twelve entrants, which was decent considering the quick turnaround from the Monday Night game. Eight predicted a Cardinals victory, so the result was great reward for the continual optimism in the score prediction sweepstakes. Onto the Bears and it is likely the fanbase will be upbeat and sensing another victory. Anything but straightforward I should caution and it be interesting to note if the recent upturn (two wins on the trot) will lead to an increase in participation. Thanks to all those who took part. Apologies for my earlier posting, I messed up by rushing and not methodically re-checking everything through. Sorry Respecttheprocess, you are the worthy winner of the Silver medal and the revised listing is given, below.
As mentioned in the original posting some have become good at this and special congratulations to Flash for the second Gold on the trot, and for getting so close once again to an exact score. I consider that the 'closeness of prediction' is a real indicator that some people know what's going on (and not chance or luck).
