When you consider what we overcame....and this would include self-inflicted wounds, we hung in there and made it happen. By the way, did anyone notice that flagrant face mask on Conner that was not called, In the end, we overcame that too.

The ball placement is always in favor against the Cards...picking up holding calls only happens if it hurts the Cards...I try to ignore an obvious NFL officiating against the Cards.

Starting this season with a 2-3 record was about on par for forum thoughts pre-season. 2-0 in the NFC wasn't thought of by anyone.
I would consider this a good.
Winning division games helps employment...the next hurdle is winning home games. We will take the wins where we can.
A record of .500 or better at the bye is the next hurdle.

Before the season I pencilled Washington as a win and 49ers away as a loss. They righted the ship. No one knew the Commanders would be this year’s Texans. Still on track for my 8-9 wins as the schedule is toughest early.

WR Wilson continues to impress me as the #2 WR. He dropped some critical passes in earlier games, but today, he caught everything. He was the difference-maker and accounted for many yards gained on key downs.
Our #1 WR is going to win some monster games for the Cardinals. Harrison is growing into the #1 role fast. We are just starting to see how good this young man can be.

Good - Safety position as Jalen Thompson finally made some plays and more snaps for Rabbit who helped jar the ball loose from Kittle in a critical 4th qtr play. Of course JC 2nd half, KM1 running (including getting up to 21 1/2 MPH on his TD) and Mack Wilson, Sr. Tackles PJJ and Beachum to hold Bosa to ZERO sacks! Michael Wilson is really showing up and could have doubled his yardage on the "stop & go."
Bad - MHJ 2 catches on 8 targets as the entire KM1/MHJ connection is stagnant - also disappointed MHJ gets bumped off too easily on bringing down balls IMO ... need more aggressive, stronger hands. This offense can be unlocked if the KM1/MHJ connection can improve ... needs to improve !
Ugly - Poor play design & bad KM1 decision on the Nick Bosa pick costing the team at least 3 pts. Missing M. Wilson on the stop & go - I mentioned prior to the game that back shoulder completed throws allows a team to then get a "chunk" play with a stop and go move. It is too bad Kyler didn't hit that one.
Don't know about Hernandez but the Cards are setup to pull the upset in GB as "cookie" Love still isn't sharp and the defense should gain next week their best corner (G. Williams), best DL (a fresh, healthy DRob) while on offense return of Zay Jones and hopefully Prater.

Ugly-Game Day posts...very few Cardinal friendly posts on the Cardinal Fan Forum today Sorry about not being on board to support our Cardinals, doing a little Milton prep this week. I have been guilty of bad and negative posts myself…last game thread was more than I could take and had to tap out for most of the game. I appreciate your contributions as well as the ones who were venting on Sunday… my wife appreciated me doing some honey do’s while watching the game over posting and paying attention to the forum. I was happy to see coaching on defense adjustments and personnel. It is good to get things done…even when the Cards are playing.

I have a different hurdle that I'd like to see. A win "streak." Starting next week against the Packers and then continuing the following game on MNF in front of God and everybody.

I'm on the Treasure coast on the East side. We will be on the path as well. The West side of Florida has been hammered lately though. Stay safe.

Has anyone mentioned the GOOD of being the first NFL team in about 30 years to score a TD on the first drive in each of their first five games? It wasn’t long ago Kingsbury couldn’t get a score in the first quarter.
Another GOOD I want to mention is Rabbit. This kid may be a steal at the beginning of the first round. Limited sample size, but he’s killing it so far. I forget which analyst said it but one called Rabbit the best pick of the day when he was drafted. He has a PPF in the 90’s. He might give us flexibility with Budda’s contract coming up. Williams, Melton and Rabbit are all looking like promising young DB’s, and that would be fantastic.
The really, really bad has been our free agent signings except for Wilson Sr. A starting RT, 2 starting Dlinemen, a #3-#4 WR and a starting CB who have done nothing for us yet, via poor play, early injuries and suspensions. Not a good look for Monti.

Not a good look for Monti. 98.7 stated this morning that Rabbit had the highest score of any Cardinal defensive player according to PFF. I'll add the UGLY is 98.7 reported Hernandez is OUT for the season with a knee injury so I guess Barton & Gaines will be competing for the RG spot now. Just when I started getting hope that Jonah Williams might be back after the bye week.

I'm glad you brought this up. I was looking for a place to post this. While he has been flying under my radar, he is starting to make a difference. He might be the best bang for the buck guys we signed this year. The Cardinals’ Mack Attack
