Boy, I sure hope DRob is back this week and he is the next Aaron Donald. This also shows the Monti FA's added [Jones/Nichols/Murphy-Bunting] have provided next to nothing -- yikes. Mack Wilson was a good signing.
Cardinals Defensive Stats Ranking (on JV podcast giving credit to ESPN):
Red Zone Efficiency = 27th
Completion % Against = 32nd (LAST)
Pass Rush Win Rate % = 31st
Rush TD Against = Tied for LAST
Run Stop Win % = LAST
The only thing I can say about the Cards 3 losses is the Bills will probably win the AFC East, Lions will probably win the NFC Central and Commanders have a good chance to win the NFC East.

I can't lie, those are some sad stats even if you don't put much faith in stats. It looks like management agrees... Cardinals make practice squad move, hold tryouts for 3 players All three are LB's. |

The Cards have got their high risk bet on not investing needed money and assets on defense empty the trust the fans had in this new staff.
Offense isn't free from bad performance either. They have been gifted the best of weapons. The return on the offense has been poor the last two games as well.

Well even if you have a great defense how many games do you win when you score only 13 or 14 points. So far we played the 31st 22nd 14th and 27th rated defenses. After the first two games the offense stunk as well as the defense. |

Well even if you have a great defense how many games do you win when you score only 13 or 14 points. So far we played the 31st 22nd 14th and 27th rated defenses. After the first two games the offense stunk as well as the defense. Agree. It’s a good thing we are scoring 24 per game. We are scoring in the same range as the 49ers and Rams, but our defense is giving up about 5 points more per game. And in the NFL, that is the difference between playoffs and no playoffs. 13 teams have scored the same or more than us through 4 games. 3 teams have allowed more scoring. If our defense wasn’t AGAIN bottom of the league and could get off the field and put the ball in the hands of our offense more, and just be a mediocre 15th-18th ranked D, our scoring would be top 10 easy. You are over-reacting to Sunday’s performance, my friend. |

This offense blows and it better start getting it right or changes could come before the end of the season. KM they will ride this season out but if the same crap show continues they have no choice but to solve the most glaring weakness to this and there are many and that is Qb. Defense won't win squat if the offense is like the last two games. Those first two games That was before the Petzing and Kyler got exposed. They are gonna make Kyler beat us and he is not up to the task not from what I have seen. |

Monti knows he's got a big problem with the current D roster talent. The D stats are gaudy bad. The only good news is that some much needed help is on the way from IRs an suspension lists soon. IMV, none of the 3 LBs trying out can bail out the Cardinals D. All of them have serious issues. |

You are over-reacting to Sunday’s performance, my friend. Sunday's game was a disappointing game. I've been a Kyler fan since we drafted him but IMO Kyler, a 6 year vet, got spanked by a rookie. Yes the rookie is breaking records but it wasn't even close. People are going to overreact when a rookie is outplaying our 1/4 billion dollar QB. Our QB seems to be incapable of not making the same mistakes over and over. |
