I might be viewing tankathon more often -- on 98.7 a few minutes ago they cited a source (can't remember name) that Jonah Williams might be gone for the season with an outside chance he could be back in November but appears unlikely. Today not practicing were: - Garrett Williams -- who has been grading out well
- Beachum - 3rd stringer at RT ? ... Hump will be getting cleared very soon so I wouldn't be surprised if they try to sign him.
- Prater - must be why they signed a kicker today
- Isaiah Adams
- Of course, DRob is not back practicing either as these calf injuries (CMC/Russell Wilson) seem to be taking quite awhile to heal from.
The most expensive FA pickups (J. Jones/Nichols/Murphy-Bunting/Jonah Williams) all have been disappointing & so when your best defensive pick hasn't played a down yet and the four draft picks in 3rd round have all been disappointing ... the Cardinal "boat" is taking on water quickly. P.S. In a couple more weeks, I'll be glad the NBA is starting up. The only good happening in the football universe for me right now is Indiana U. football team is 5-0 and averaging over 45 pts/game.

Agree, it is hard to find any good news coming out of the SFS catacombs these days. All news is dreary. The DRob injury is strange because nothing was said about the ailment itself. I assumed a serious calf bruise happened during PS, but the timetable is looking more like muscle tissue regrowth. It's way too early to listen to tankathon, IMV. Who is worth tankng for? I dunno.

Despite the bad start and terrible home performances again the Cards are 1-0 in the NFC West.
Time to get distance from the stink and win in SF.
