The Bengals are now 0-3. Sports media hype has the Bengals always being in the mix to dethrone Mahomes and the Chiefs. Burrow is very very good. That organization, as a whole, is not. While I think highly of the HC, OC and DC, once you get above that level I have to agree with you BRF. Mike Brown will be turning 90 next year, and I still remember when Carson Palmer wanted out he was basically ignored, so he just stayed home for a year. Then Brown cut a deal with the Raiders for him and he had to suffer a year with them before continuing his circuitous route to Az and BA (not far behind Jared Veldheer, another of Keim's good trades). It's almost bizarre that Palmer could suffer at Cincy all those years and then enjoy somewhat of a resurrection with a Cardinal team that ALWAYS suffered a bad reputation under Bill Bidwill. It was largely due to Bruce though I suppose...

IMO, he's not head coaching material. He was pathetic in time management and the 2 minute drive. He didn't have players prepared for the season. He didn't seem to have the respect of the players. He's doing ok as an OC but can't handle the full duty of being a head coach. Totally agree with your assessment of KK as a head coach…as I in the past have echoed those very same statements… my post was only to point out…in today’s NFL…where successful offensive and defensive coordinators are sought out to become the league’s next head coaches…he just might get another chance if he is successful in Washington. I did hear he improved his receivers route trees. Remember DHops? I hope we smash them.

And if it had not been for the Rams dirty D-line play in both their games against the Cards, the team would've went far into the playoffs. BUT we know that the 3rd string QB Ryan Lindley was Not ready but BA had no one else left to play. I still feel sorry for Lindley. And I still do NOT like the Rams for their orchestrated take out of Drew Staton in week 14. We still beat them But that was the last win of the season iirc.

The Bengals are awful especially defensively. Two Diva WR's want to get paid. I believe we're going to hear more dissention from that Bengal locker room during this season. Meanwhile, Sunday's game should be a ..whats the phrase? Breaking out party for K1. This is the winnable game to get the team to 2-2. If Gannon, Ralis and Petzing get out schemed v. Quinn and kingsbury? Then this franchise is in real trouble.

First we'll have to see if washington offense continues doing well in the second half of the season...
Until that I wouldn't make any conclusion about how good KK is as an OC.

I'm hoping to see plenty of Conner and Demercado early and often w/ some K1 sprinkled in and hopefully even a Commander TO early to put extra pressure on the rookie QB. I don't want to see a close game, I want to see Washington chewed UP, RAM STYLE!

Your post reminds me of the dirty play by the Saints player that was basically the last straw for Kurt Warner.

I think he will be patient and wait for the right opportunity. I think he realizes success as a head coach in the NFL depends on highly on your front office and coaching for a good organization. The Cardinals front office has been a mess for a long time. Bruce Arians faked retirement to get out of the organization knowing he couldn't win here.
