IMHO,
Having a Forum thread dedicated to 'podcasts' earned my 'Yes' vote. The idea is to provide a marketplace for members to easily find and enjoy knowledgeable discussions about the team and the game.
FLCF did it right. He uses forethought before placing a podcast in the thread or making a recommendation. Q: Does the new podcast add value? If the answer is 'no,' it's better not to add it to the thread.
* Some software savvy is needed to navigate podcasts. I signed up and use free "Spotify". With that free account, expect some ads.

I would rather listen to Cardinals fans doing a podcast than local sports journalists who are compromised and can't be honest. The problem with the local media is they can never tell the whole truth for fear of losing access. The exceptions are Dave Pasch and Dan Bickley.
Don't get me wrong. I think our local sports guys are very intelligent. I've had a chance to speak with some one on one. What they tell you in private is very different than what they say on the radio or in print. I get it. Phoenix is not NY, Philly, Boston or LA where journalists can criticize the team. In Phoenix, it's still has the small town mentality where journalists still have to be complimentary of the team.
Give me the forum members doing a podcast. I will listen to that all day. Way more fun

I think it's a great idea to put pod cast in a dedicated thread.
I personally don't listen to that many, but if I were in the mood, I would know where to go.
