We gave up a 6th for Dobbs I think right?

Ridder was an even trade for Rondell Moore ( who happens to be injured)

We have an extra 7th now with Thomas traded to K.C.
I would look for someone with some experience.

I for sure don't want to see a Ryan Lindley, Logan Thomas 2.0 in 2024.

Yes, it was a stinker all around. But we can't blame Tune for all of it, or much of it.

I saw no protection from the OL for either QB, and both offense and defense reeked

Tune was absolutely thrown to the wolves against a very tough Browns defense. I would not judge him off that game. I also do not blame people who have concerns he is the best option for QB2. He knows the offense and the team/staff know him. Teams always need to look to improve a position if they can. Would be hard to have much faith if Tune had to start, but nobody really knows his full potential.

After watching Ridder since his arrival here vs.Tune, then if Ridder is good

enough to keep on the PSquad (in the eyes of coaches) it would seem that

Tune surely merits being the preferred backup - at present.

That being the case, we armchair critics can't dispute with certainty since

we cannot see all aspects of any of the players, as do coaches.

But - being critical and second guessing is part and parcel of being a fan, so

keep it up, bird watchers.

IMHO

And you know full well Tune was thrown out to the Dawgs that game. Even KM would've had a poor showing then.
