Sounds like he doesn't follow he Cardinals much if he thought ridder was a good fit for bring km backup |

All 2024 Draft picks make the team except for 6th rounder Palmer (though his spot taken by UDFA 2024 Xavier Weaver) and 7th rounder CB Jaden Davis. [11 total] All 2023 Draft picks - all made the 53 man roster though 2023 UDFA TE Whitehart was cut. [10 Total - this does include Starling Thomas CB who was signed prior to the 2023 season as a rookie] Wow - this team is YOUNG !!!! I wonder which players that were cut will end up on the practice squad...Chisena? Davis? Palmer? Ridder?
Should be interesting to find that out tomorrow I believe...

He has had a roster exemption. But he has been here for what two seasons now I guess the experiment is over. |

Was hoping they were going to trade carter same here but 3rd string rbs are a dime a dozen. Camereon Thomas DL young with some promise is worth a bit more. |

He has had a roster exemption. But he has been here for what two seasons now I guess the experiment is over. They had some changes in that and being on roster for years could have nullified the exemption….not any loss of concern |

Was hoping they were going to trade carter it is just too easy to find talent at RB. No need to trade for a guy on the bubble. Teams are 5 RB deep on guys that can play in this league. No need to trade for one that is not elite. |

Hey Chirp...if you want to know what player does not absolutely positively play at the NFL level...it is Pascal...maybe at one time he did...but not anymore...
Here are his stats last season:

Here are his stats in 2022 under Gannon in Philadelphia:

There is a definite increase in OL size and strength since 2022.
The RB room is loaded with size.
The WR room has Dortch as the only WR under 6’.
The Cards have the two receiving TEs and added Tip and Vokolek who are 6’5” and 6’6” and in the 270LB range…small OL tackles who can catch a ball or two.
Then on defense Tonga is the NT on run downs at 6’5” 350LBs
They also signed Jones and Nichols as vet DTs who can stabilize the young DL players around them.
Edge really only has 3 player option currently Gardeck, Collin’s and XT…Luketa and Victor are ST players and only 3 ILBs…and heavy on safeties, so a single ILB with a nickel backer or safety will be the go to…Wilson will be taking edge snaps.
11 DBs the rotation JG likes.
It looks like the zone blitz or zone rush will be the recipe for QB pressure. OL will have a hard time identifying who the rush players are.
The depth at DB will be tapped and JG has his 6 DL rotation. It will be interesting… TBD how much of a jump the D will have…there have been a definite increase in the floor at all three levels of the defense.
