Andre Chachere
I see Andre sneaks in as the fifth Safety onto the 53-list. - I'll be gutted if he doesn't make it...

I posted yesterday in another thread that Monti might be calling the Browns for Tyler Huntley. I forgot that Stefanski runs the same offense as Petzing and so Huntley could be brought up to speed more quickly than the Dobbs experiment. I do believe JG/Petzing thinks this offense can be in the top quartile in the entire NFL so they cannot have the team's season go off the rails if KM1 is hurt for even 2-3 games.
I think Monti gives up a conditional 6th rounder for Huntley and Tune goes on PS. JG today's press conference wanted everyone to know he liked what Ridder did on Sunday and that he has ALREADY passed concussion protocol. Monti is probably shopping Ridder around the NFL and see if he can get a 7th rounder.

Ridder is bad and Tune is terrible...not sure what the coaches are smoking or medical gummies they are eating before prepping the backup QBs to get ready for preseason games. There was no letting it rip only hold and get stacked unless a WR is running wide open. WR at 6'2" had to use a 35" vertical jump to snag a WR screen pass. No anticipation or understanding the routes the WRs were running or holes in the coverage's. Without any cuts the Cards have no backup QBs...K1 or bust is the game the team is currently playing. I would rather have QB Melton who is 6'5" 265 LBs and have him as a option, wishbone or wildcat QB and never throw the ball. UWV flying T Mountaineer BA throwback offense.

I heard the radio talk about trading Ridder the other day. I just laughed as I agree with you, his value is not there.

This list had Can Thomas as our 3rd best of five at his position. Now he’s traded to the Chiefs for a 7th.

Little surprising especially with the DRob injury; however Giants look to be trading BJ Ojulari's brother so maybe he is being targeted by Monti - Azeez Ojulari could definitely be available for a TradeWouldn't be surprised if Ridder is traded and then Monti goes after Tyler Huntley of the Browns who might be available after today.

If I was Monti, I'd be wary of bringing in Azeez in a trade. He's on the 4th year of a rookie contract now. The cost of a new contract is affordable, maybe $1.5-2.0M per year if the agent squeezed Monti. I might dangle a 2025 7th rounder back at NYG's GM. Not higher. My concern is Azeez's performances 2022-2023. He's not living up to potential. Maybe it's a case of being on the wrong team, the NYG! His rookie year was solid. Since then, meh. Sacks are overrated. It's the tackles I pay attention to. Everything turned negative after year 1. The Cardinals do need help on the D. Is Azeez the right guy? That's why Monti gets paid the big bucks. Let him figure it out.

I recall he was raved about at Draft time and it would appear his draft stock dropped due to concerns about an arthritic knee - thegamehaus.com/nfl/azeez-ojulari-was-the-biggest-steal-of-the-2021-nfl-draft/2021/06/19/As you say EZ; dangle a sardine rather than a big fish and he could be heading over our way. You would think he would be keen to link up with his brother. He had/has speed off the edge and that is the type of attribute I could see our FO being smitten on. Hopefully, he still possesses this and he just needs another opportunity somewhere else to re-launch his career and flourish.

Some chatter out there about the Cardinals and the Lions LB James Houston as well.

New here. Moved from TN, bought season tickets to the Cardinals this year. I don’t think Tune can be a reliable starter if Kyler goes down. Monti knows Tannehill, Tannehill is still available and would make a very solid #2 behind Kyler and could step in (EASILY) as a starter if needed. Tanney will be pricey, but worth it IMO.

Tannehill would 100% be a better option. If he is still avail then teams have not beat down his door to get him to sign. He should not cost that much, unless that is the issue and he is just asking for more than people want to pay.
