For those members concerned about the D Robinson injury, HC Gannon is asked a question at the start of the interview.
JG is not pleased with what happened at the practice on Friday. He intimates that some coach or player violated his practice or preparation policy, either during the practice itself or immediately after the injury.
It is not clear to me what bugged the HC at the scene. The HC did agree the Robinson injury is "calf" and imagery would confirm that. That's all he would say.
JG is protecting the player health privacy foremost and also drawing a red line about discussing how the injury happened and to what extent the injury might disclose the game preparation and a roster decision.
It was an interesting Q&A to say the least.

It was an interesting Q&A to say the least. JG made a reference to a reporter given access to the closed portion of practice when the injury occurred. There is an agreement with access to the closed portion if there is no revealing of specifics as per what the team runs and although the reporters are given access they can not report on the closed period. By a reporter tweeting about the injury, JG was displeased anything was made public as per the closed portion…some coaches do not allow any reporters during the closed portions. His ire was about a breach by a reporter making public what occurred during a closed practice.

Teams in general are silent on injuries and JG falls into that theme. It was also a reminder that there are rules for reporters wanting inside coverage if granted those special concessions.
I am sure the Bills were pleased to hear about the injury.

I find JG's no-nonsense approach Refreshing. Straightforward and no sugar coating.
I "hope" Josh Weinfuss is no longer a Card reporter for ESPN(?). Do not like his type of reporting.
