This week we may see a former Razorback I loved in the 2023 draft Drew Sanders a 3rd round pick in Denver. VJ has not been a good landing spot for Drew. Drew was a great pass rusher in college so VJ had him start his career as a MLB...he performed poorly and later in his rookie year he played ROLB and his pass rush grades were his best rookie grades...weird. Denver is doing the same things with rookie defenders that the Cards use to do.
Hjalte was also a Razorback.

LB Jackson looks ready for the NFL in that image. The pads look thin but otherwise, he's a stud. BTW, JJ Watt was 6'5" and 288 lbs at his prime when picked #11, first Rd.

With the focus in the 2023 draft to get a LT, edge and WR and then in the 2024 draft a WR, DE/edge, and DBs the floor on the roster has risen. I think in the 2025 the defense will need the most help. Get DRob a partner like Landon Jackson and maybe a big NT in the 1st and second round or Landon and a OLB. I think the new OLBs will be in the 6'4" to 6'6" height...Monti like the big tall defenders.
As in Philly JG was okay with getting the offense right before giving the defense new toys to excel. Monti will add another OL player, but the defense needs more quality depth on the DL and edge.

I think Landon would be a great DL partner across from DRob...their length and size project well in the NFL...part way through the highlights Landon drops about 20 yards in coverage and almost gets a INT..his rock hands failed him.LOL

He'll be gone by the time the Cardinals draft turn comes up. . . Is there a "glimmer of Hope' for the Cards in ff's eyes now!??

He'll be gone by the time the Cardinals draft turn comes up. . . It is an interesting 2025 draft when it comes to generational DTs...big and productive as well as quality edge players...I at least think at this point Landon is a possible option.

With Texas and OU now in the SEC, one thing you know is anyone coming out of that division is going to be easy to evaluate. I looked at almost everyone's SEC schedule, and no one has any free rides. The non-conference games are laughable, for the most part, but with this many quality teams in that conference, I don't think I saw one single SEC team that wasn't going to play 'at least' 5 quality opponents per year - minimum. Some of its teams play as many as 7. Since most non-SEC teams play 3-4 tops, it's going to ensure the SEC keeps getting prime talent. More than it used to because viewership will grow, which means its players can get more lucrative signing/advertisement deals.
Ohio State has quite a few studs, but I don't know that there are too many teams outside of the SEC that are going to get much press.

Broadcasters are focusing more and more on SEC games because that's were the talent is flooding and that's where the fan's eyeballs are focusing. Smaller schools are already hurting for funds to pay for all the fun stuff. Now, there's the portal process which funnels more talent to the big-dollar football programs. And finally, the better athletes are getting paid. Anyway, Jackson is a heck of a player. I hope he stays healthy and has a long NFL career, maybe playing for the Cardinals by XXXX year.

Patrick Payton a JR DE for FSU 6'5" 250 LBS looks pretty good...not sure if this will be his final college year.
