Forum members,
Beginning Aug 20, 2024, Administrators are aware of the ProBoards software problems that are affecting the Forum appearance and functionality. Some Forum and member custom features also are not working, disappeared, or are changed overnight. FLCF and I were able to fix a few things early this morning beginning at 0530 am ET, but not all issues are fixable at this time.
I ask for your indulgence as ProBoards software either fixes itself or Forum Administrators figure out a way to restore custom features. We are seeking member assistance to aid Forum restoration to Aug 18th if possible. The ProBoard's Admin site does not offer 'restore' function similar to a home computer system.
If your avatar or data are missing or changed, please advise -- or, please re-upload your avatar and data at anytime.

Thanks for the heads up. I noticed the changes yesterday but thought the problem was on my end.

MicroCrap is making many changes right now too. be aware of these too.

It seems that things are at least partially fixed now:
The vertical links feature icons are back now (and same with the Vikings related Purple Pain website BTW, which points blame toward some change or glitch with ProBoards being the cause).
I have not tried to check each avatar here though, so some may not be back to normal or require a reset.

No, I made that myself. It wasn't never affected. As to why mine was fine while other animated gifs weren't...I have no idea. |

THE FORUM AVATAR IS BACK! I WAS SO WORRIED had to be something that Proboards did to affect all of reignman's work. That is what I saw all his work was changed including my logo and Dry Heat's (we will do our best to fix yours) reignman did way too much work for all to be lost. He is a great guy,  |

Search "reduce GIF video file size". One free one online is:
There are many others which may or may not be free or better, but generally they allow reducing quality, frame rate, or similar means to achieve much smaller files.
I have not tried any of them so far, so treat this as FWIW only.
There are also tutorials on youtube for help.
