I think he's picking up a paycheck right after the 3rd PS game. It's a tough business for these guys. I don't think he's ranked high enough today to even a bubble guy. |

He could be a TC body to just be practice fodder ........ OR could the Cards be upgrading ST and WR room in one move ? Zach Pascal is making $2.7M and his only real value is as a ST player since his value as a WR is almost nil.
Garrett is 4 yrs younger, much cheaper and a ST specialist. He plays LB and I speculated weeks ago Rallis using Mack Wilson as a pass rusher which would mean Monti needed to sign an extra LB. Of course releasing Pascal also saves $2M against the cap AND it allows the 6'3" 4.32 40 with sure hands WR Chisena room to make the 53 man roster.
After all, I did post within the last week that I wanted Chisena over Pascal to make the 53 man roster. Garrett is a way to achieve this while not hurting Special Teams.
I hope not but maybe Garrett will be with the team for exactly one week but I would be disappointed if that is the case. IMO Garrett has 3 practices and every ST snap on Sunday to make a showing enough to push the overpaid Pascal off the 53 man roster.
