I believe that the special team coaches did figure out how to attack this and some will do so we'll have a significant impact in their teams winning games. My initial thoughts when seeing how this was actually going to look where that if you're the receiving team I would have it blocked up like you would block up a trap running play before you left some of the defenders come through or try to push them to the outside like that's happened in this video creating a lane. I think we will see faster guys on the return teams because they will need to make a brief block and get up filled and try to make a second block. I wonder if kickoff teams will adapt and have a couple of their guys run backwards supposed to cut down the possibility of it being almost for sure touchdown that the returner breaks through the initial line? And any of you and I think how these returns are conducted will look quite a bit different at the end of the season than they do now.
I also considered the possibility of having a 70 yd tush push for a touchdown where would look like football before the Forward pass was legal. LOL

A variation of the old Flying Wedge play?

if I were a special teams coach I would have to try it at least once. Put my 11 biggest guys out there and see if we could push the ball all the way. That would work if the other team did notice that and had smaller faster guys cuz our big guys are just knock them down. LOL
