Saturday's game between the Cardinals vs Saints has 1388 views
and 129 replies to posts.
Last year's Cardinals vs Broncos had 5,179 views but only 73 replies.
What Am I missing here?
That makes no sense.
My goal is to make this the best forum
That is why I am asking.
Do I give it time?

Not sure. Might be due to competition. Twitter, discord, YouTube, etc. There are more places to engage. We have some faithful that will always show up here though.

Did the starters play last year? No KM then either but a brand new coaching staff and lots of changes may have stirred up more interest?

I was on the forum while the game was playing...I did notice that there were not too many of us on there throughout the game...I think most of the posts were made prior to the game...and most of the views were during the game...
But, I really don't have an answer...that is odd though...

Maybe more members watched the Denver game last year because they wanted to see the Bronco's new head coach get his butt beat for teasing Card fans?

All Card fans were watching SP after his visit and then taking the Denver position. FLCF I think you do a great job on the game day and at times it is best to be faithful to the process that isn’t broken. As the regular season arrives and the actual results happen the fan base will want to participate more. It ain’t broke… |

It makes a difference when you cannot actually watch the game live.
Even if you can listen it's not as easy to discuss cause there is a ton of visual information that is just not there.
Point is the NFL is making it harder to watch your favorite Team UNLESS they are SB winners and/or consistently in the playoffs.
I happened to get 98.7FM Pheonix for the listen part saturday evening. Otherwise, I would've been hard pressed to even visit the forum during the game.
That's my 2 cents.

I personally did not make any comments while the game was going on because I had to wait and watch it at 12:30 a.m. where was replayed by the NFL network. I believe the next Cardinal preseason game is going to be televised nationally and if so they'll be more commenting I'm sure.
I think part of it too is the oversaturation of football in general now during the off season. It's hard to keep a thousand percent enthusiasm year-round.
Seems like now the day after the draft social media platforms and the television are over ran by unrealistic articles about what this particular draft pick is going to do for the team and it's over and over again.
We are ready for football.

It makes a difference when you cannot actually watch the game live. Even if you can listen it's not as easy to discuss cause there is a ton of visual information that is just not there. Point is the NFL is making it harder to watch your favorite Team UNLESS they are SB winners and/or consistently in the playoffs. I happened to get 98.7FM Pheonix for the listen part saturday evening. Otherwise, I would've been hard pressed to even visit the forum during the game. That's my 2 cents. Stream east works. If you use google chrome to get to it you can watch anything. PPV, games in other locations, literally any sport. You have to close out pop out windows a few times to get to what you want, but it works. Have not had much issue with it when I have used it. the.streameast.app/nfl-preseason/washington-commanders-new-york-jets/25567232I do not use the app, just type the.streameast.app into the google chrome browser. I kept hearing about it and was always againt it, until I checked it and saw how great it worked. |

My goal is to make this the best forum That is why I am asking. Do I give it time? I would give it time. First, the reply's is almost double....Thats a good thing. The number of views is a weird thing and my be due to how the Pro Boards works. Sometimes I look up a very old post and find the number of views has gone up by a substantial amount even though it may be years old. Can it be that people go back and read old threads....I don't know. Keep the faith, you and we are doing just fine. |

KM was out. Colt McCoy was on the out. No one knew a thing about Clayton Tune. There was nothing
to be excited about preseason 2023. Forum brethren were already in tank-mode just hoping the new
regime's 1st draft class would contribute just enough to show all fans that the new regime had a clue
on judging NFL talent. Which they did.
I'm sure many of the views were by Bronco fans testing the heartbeat of Cardinal forum fans. Love or hate
the Broncos, that is one of the best fan bases in all of NFL cities.
Even with Murray out for pre-season, forum was hoping to see MJH snaps. Wait 'til week one in Buffalo.
Talk about forum participation then!
FLCF's Cardinal game threads are great whether the games count or not.
