I know! Less than 2 weeks until the 1st PS game. At least it's football. Seems like a century passed since the last game in January '24.
Maybe this season will be a good one. One that we remember.

Just a friendly reminder. The annual Red White practice is next Saturday. Not quite a preseason game but the guys on the bubble will be going all out to show they are worthy. As far as I know...and I looked into it...the only way to see it is to get a free ticket and go there. linkWho knows....maybe some entity will stream it. I'll be looking it, but I don't have much hope. Either way, I'm sure there will be some YT highlights as well as many reports. |

The HOF game is this week, Aug 1, at 8 pm ET. Bears vs. Texans at Canton OH.

Cant believe first preseason game starts tonight. Wow! I know, just HOF game, but still football is back! Every year when the NFL season starts, I always revert back to wanting to build that website for a easy, but fun pickem league. Its the normal pickem setup, each week you login and select who you think will win. I then code in where they are playing, weather, you can compare to the "experts/analysis" picks. See the percentage of who is picking who. The kicker is, if you pick the under dog to win and they do win, you get like double the points. Been also thinking about allowing the commish of the league to determine exactly what happens if they pick the underdog to win and they win. Double the points, triple or whatever. That way if you are far back in points, you have a chance to catch up. So lets say you get 10 points for picking the winner, but the team was picked as the underdog. So instead you get 20 points. I created a test run, it was all manual, a couple of years ago. People seemed to like it. Just a quick easy game that is a little different than the rest out there.

May have player production instead of projections to post about soon. I have to officially adopt Robinson as my favorite rookie. Hope it goes better than Simmons for FLCF.  |

Simmons only relied on athleticism. Darius Has the Mind to Match the Athleticism! Mark it Done! |
