Cadinalsins and FLCF usually have the press conferences posted. Hjalte and Will have recent interviews.
The Cardinal OL is in the best position preseason that I can recall. The big surprise post 2023 was the high level of play from the center position. Hjalte has been praised also for the relationship he has with K1 and his vocalizing his constant desire to take pre-snap adjustments off K1's shoulders when he can. He also has the maturity to speak up or challenge K1 or give in when needed...it is a big positive the high level of understanding and maturity and open communication.
Hjalte talked about enjoying Brown next to him with an extra set of C eyes at LG to provide feedback. Brown is the lite-weight at the 320ish realm. Will has slimmed to 345LBs. Hjalte may list in the 310 area, but looks more like the 330-340 range. Hjalte talked about him and Brown being in sync as vets who have bounced around and understand each other well.
Jonah Williams has been given compliments by teammates and Paris is making the switch to Left well and has been complimented by teammates on communicating with every player put in at LG.
On Ron and Wolf, Will was asked if he has been in a fight at camp yet and today he was in a bit of a fight today...and he also talked about he and the players have to check themselves. Push up to the line, but check themselves. He blamed Wolf.LOL
A great mix of young players, not too old vets, very physical players and they have a close knit relationship and competitive.
They have a good group of strong interior options to help the center of the pocket to hold up on pass pro and the mobility to get to the sidelines.
