Is this the first Cardinals training camp EVER -- where there is 100% participation ? NO PUP - NO NFI - NO IR - NO Holdouts - not even someone sitting out for a muscle strain.
BTW: Max Melton - FULL PARTICIPANT while Cooper DeJean = NFI List

Good to hear about the coaching staff. Leadership from top to bottom. Don't recall seeing this type of stuff from the previous regime.

Players show up for workouts, or check out with the paymaster for the final check. I am very okay with a player being put on NFI (Non Football Injury) until he gets well. NFI was famously abused by HCs and GMs in the past, but is not allowed by NFL policy today. Some guys overdo it prior to camp, mainly by doing too much to get ready for camp, and they end up tearing a muscle, etc, in the home gym. We have to save these type guys, the ones that want to be the best of the best and still work hard on off-days. |
