Huh? A month ago, BA was gaga about the SF contract option. Seems the contract love was not the same in the SF front office.
BA will get a job someplace. He's got talent. ARZ? No way. We're set for RB and WR.
I wish BA luck. Maybe he'll cross over to the AFC next. MIA? HOU? BUF? These teams are always looking for 1-2 year contract talent. KC might offer a veteran contract but I just don't see Reid putting up with BA's agent.

It'll cost a decent draft pick to get him. Maybe one of the teams that want to support their new QB. Patriots maybe?
Ad long as he leaves the 49ers...
But I think that this is highly unlikely. The team has too much leverage IMO.

The Cardinal WR room has a full room and none are old. Why blow up a WR room and waste a pick on a WR who wants or demands top money? There is a mental focus with the current players.

Not pointed at your point and more how some articles have pointed to AZ as one of those five that might be a landing spot. At this point I believe Monti has given plenty of options, not only at WR, but DL, OL, OLB, RB, and CB. One joker the coaches have on defense is Wilson, he is as good at rushing as covering and can be used as a OLB for some snaps if needed. Barnes and Pappoe can help at MLB as long as White stays healthy or the defense can sub a MLB with an extra S with the addition of Rabbit. Versatility is a constant talking point with the players and coaches.

I don't think our WR room is full At the same time, i would not waste a pick on him. Wide receiver is a position that you reasonably fill with a first or second around pick. I've never seen a team trade multiple picks for a receiver and pay off. I still remember Dallas trading two first round picks to get Joey Galloway from Seattle; it was a disaster.
Here are other trades involving a first round pick and wide receiver in the NFL since 2000. See for yourself how successful these trades were

I read an article on NFL.com this morning (7/23) about Kittle apparently wanting the team to work harder to find the $$ to sign Alyuk. He's a dynamic WR and some team is going to be happy to have him on the roster in September.

No team will benefit trading multiple draft picks to acquire him because as mentioned, it's not hard to get a good wide receiver with a first or second round pick. Usually other teams will low ball and try to get a deal for your receiver like giving up a 2nd round pick only

Save that kind of thing when we are going to make a legitimate run at the SB. I will say, if he moves on from the 49'ers....that's a good thing.

I know the asking price is too much regarding futures, but man, Aiyuk excites me more than Zay Jones ever will. Too me, Zay Jones is an insurance policy on the games that Michael Wilson will probably miss in 2024.
Hopefully MW stays healthy and blossoms into an elite NFL receiver.

I think you are correct about Jones and Moore is in the same boat. Cards have the 2 rookies at WR as well. There are options if Wilson has an injury and Higgy-Bear played better towards the end of 2023. Monti has done a great job of finding players who are buying in and are physical specimens. It isn’t like the Cards need another quality WR option, the position’s floor is is above 2023’s ceiling
