Has he signed his contract yet? Not yet. I looked around for some kind of explanation as to why. There is not much out there. This link offers some thoughts, but not much. Cardinals RB One of Last Unsigned Rookies
Hopefully it's just business and not a prelude to something more sinister. I think the guy can be a future star. Conner is at his peak but that won't last much longer. We need Trey to be what many think he can be for long term.

Sounds like his agent is holding out for more money on multiple players he is the agent for... Below are some parts of an article talking about the holdout:
So, what’s the holdup for Corley and Benson, the first and second picks, respectively, in the third round?
It’s difficult to pinpoint with the possibility that it’s simply the agents for Corley (Jimmy Sexton) and Benson (Andre Odum) waiting for the other to sign and that they are trying to distance themselves somewhat from the next group of third-round picks that have signed.
.....
It’s also likely that Sexton wants a premium for Corley being the first pick in the round, so Odum is motivated to wait so whatever the gap is won’t be too large.
In addition, the reality of the slotting system is that the difference between each slot in a round isn’t significant, but there is a large dropoff from the final pick of one round to the first choice of the next round.
----
The total gap is because of higher base salaries than the minimum in 2025-27. The base salaries for all fourth-round choices are the league minimum.
Thus, the wait for Corley and Benson continues.

Hopefully it's just business and not a prelude to something more sinister. Hoping its sorted out pretty quickly. However, the important thing is the situation is managed correctly and that there are no bad feelings on either side. No doubt about it, Trey Benson is going to big player for the Cardinals, and we need him to be fully engaged and pumped up (to go hard and give of his best).

Pairing Benson up with a running blocking guard and TE, then stretching the offense with MHJ. Theres alot of promise here! Sneaking fantasy pick for those fans
