I like how this season’s schedule played out.
Initial strength of schedule looks good. Things will change, but on paper before a game is played, it’s beneficial.
I like the mix of tougher and easier opponents up front, then the bye in a perfect spot, and then a stretch of what look like beatable teams with young or not great QB’s. Finally, we end with the likely top team in the division…At home…with the 49ers…right after their MNF game.
Finally, I like the three home games out of the first four, and the lack of any brutal cold weather games. Also like that we aren’t playing internationally.

Also a break to play the Dolphins near Halloween as their average temp then will be very similar to what the Cards will practice in at end of Oct... though there is that humidity thing. Rams over/under is only 8.5 as loss of Donald and DC Raheem Morris are big losses -- I like that the Cards get the Rams for the first home game with young, excited players and a fan base with great anticipation. I sure hope the new look DL can stop the Rams running game which really chewed up the Cards last year. NOTE: It isn't impossible to think the Cards go into Buffalo and surprise them ... Buffalo in the defensive secondary lost a lot of veteran players and will Josh Allen's timing with all of the new receivers really be on point the first game of the season? Buffalo's 2nd game is against division rival Dolphins on a short turnaround Thursday night game -- could they overlook the Cardinals ? So if the Cardinals want to shock the pundits -- 2-0 to start the season ... I think it is possible.

Preseason Game 1: Saints at Cardinals Week 1: Cardinals at Bills Week 2: Rams at Cardinals Week 3: Lions at Cardinals Week 4: Commanders at Cardinals Week 5: Cardinals at 49ers Week 6: Cardinals at Packers Week 7: Chargers at Cardinals (MNF)Week 8: Cardinals at Dolphins Week 9: Bears at CardinalsWeek 10: Jets at Cardinals Week 11: BYE Week 12: Cardinals at Seahawks Week 13: Cardinals at Vikings Week 14: Seahawks at Cardinals Week 15: Patriots at Cardinals Week 16: Cardinals at Panthers Week 17: Cardinals at Rams Week 18: 49ers at Cardinals Thanks DH -- I was able to fill in a few more from leakers who communicate with JV. Release is out, looks like we nailed it! Week 9-17 is not too bad, and if we get to Week 8 4-4 we have a good shot at playoffs. Then the final 49ers game could be huge. No cold weather games! I was scoping out ticket prices this morning for the Cardinals at Carolina game week 16. That's outdoors in early-mid December and typically not the awful weather season for Charlotte NC. Lots of tickets available in the upper decks for <$50 each. I found some really good Club level seats for 30-40yd lines in the $200 range each. Sign me up!

I noticed our east coast, Eastern time zone games are 10am and 11am early games. That’s not ideal.

The 2024 schedule is the best the Cardinals and fans could hope for on the second year of a rebuild. When this team starts winning regularly and earning playoffs spots, then the schedule will get tougher with many games scheduled in odd places and on odd dates that messes up routines. I'm ready for another Christmas Day game. It's been a long time. But not a Wednesday game. Boo!

www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-schedule-releaseI invite schedule discussions to go here this weekend. Historically the NFL releases the schedule the second week of May. May 11th, 8 pm ET, Saturday is optimal. Home: 49ers, Rams, Seahawks, Bears, Lions, Commanders, Patriots, Jets, Chargers Away: 49ers, Rams, Seahawks, Packers, Vikings, Panthers, Dolphins, Bills On NFL Network Michael Robinson predicted Cardinals will beat the 49ers their first game which I found surprising.

Ahhh. Always seems to end up bad for us when the media gets on the bandwagon.
But, hope not this time😃
