This kid is a disruptor for sure lol He just needs to keep his head right and stay on a good path. I’m not talking character concerns, I’m talking battling depression and anxiety. Do that and the sky is the limit after a year or two.

This is a guy that we need to keep eye on. He was only true edge we drafted. Robinson can edge but probably be kicked more inside. Xavier was the no 3 recruit in nation when he came out of HS. He has had some personal issues, plus had Covid that cost him time. He is a prototypical Gannon type. Plays with quickness and violence, he knocks the hell out of quarterbacks. So he could be a complete washout or a major diamond in the rough. Rooting for this guy.

Low risk where he was picked, potentially sky high reward. I like the pick.

I know he broke his foot a few years back, basically missed his last 2 years.

I know he broke his foot a few years back, basically missed his last 2 years. Yes, that and a period of Covid. He self isolated himself and his weight shot up to 300 lbs. He become very depressed, he turned to religion. He credits that and coach Dabo Swinney saving him.

If you’re talking about Anderson as an edge rusher, we have a crowded room there too. We have Ojulari and Collins at edge plus will be working in some combination of rookie Xavier Thomas, vet Cam Thomas, Collier, and Stills. We have plenty of DT’s but I think they will want Anderson to put on some lbs and mix it up.

www.azcardinals.com/news/longform/nearly-quitting-football-xavier-thomas-finds-his-way-backHere is Urban's good news story about LB Xavier Thomas. I read all the member posts but did not understand everything that happened to the young man before he joined the Cardinals. He fought off depression and misfortune. He does not know how to quit. All that explains why Gannon and Rallis love Thomas. Thomas has a lot more work to do at OTAs and TC. He likes to compare himself to star LB Micah Parsons, DAL. That's quite a leap, but it's doable for Thomas if everything goes his way this offseason.

Uh oh, he’s wanting to be a professional Call of Duty player with FaZe Clan…the gaming clan Kyler is a member of. This aside, it’s amazing he was able to overcome depression and get back on track. The maturity growth is similar to Kyler going through the knee rehab. I have very high hopes for this kid. May have been an absolute steal. We will see.

Two years ago, I did not know that there are professional gamers. I assume a lot when it comes to monetizing online gaming. It seems to me that an AI robot would kick a human's butt on every game. Remember "BIG BLUE" winning chess? Bottom line: Will "professional players" be humans or AI? How will an online player know who is on the other side of the console? I suppose a guy might get a thrill out of paying to game with a professional football player.
