Odunze stayed after all other players left the field, running the 3-cone drill, trying to hit a target time he had for himself. I was high on Odunze before but, man, I would be happy to see him in a Cardinals jersey.
Had a great day today and still out there working on his stuff.

Rome is my favorite player in the draft… not saying he is the best or highest ceiling but I have a feeling he is going to have a long great NFL career and would love to get him.

My goodness. Tyreek Hill ran a 4.29. Ussain Bolt ran a 4.22 once at a Super Bowl in 2019 (in running shoes and sweat pants). Chris Jones was a 2.24.

He is trained for track. Note how he comes up from the blocks. The body movement is first horizontal, then when he's at full-speed, he's stands up. The process is about efficiency. 4.21 is amazing. Rich Eisen ran double that.

Gotta love the work ethic (compared to D-hop) this is the stuff team captains should be made of & will inherently make any WR better.

Looks like he'll get a chance to play OT first.

Super impressed and I think he made a statement opposite MHJ and Nabers. I’m going to be looking at a LOT of film, mostly between him and MHJ because if we take a WR that high I want the height and size as well. Work ethic and leadership means more to me than pedigree and bloodlines. I did a mock where we traded down twice in the first and I landed Rome as our first pick consolation prize, and then the rest of the draft became a work of art. And he could end up the best WR in a very good class.

I think the Combine helped Odunze but did not hurt Harrison. Man, if GM Ossenfort is set on a WR with the first pick, he can't go wrong with either man. Both are 200+ and 6'3" and blazing fast. I think Odunze gets picked ahead of Harrison though. It's a hunch I have. He did all the work this last week. Great job by him.

Mims is a monster of a man. I've been mocking him in the back half of the first all the time. Probably can't do that anymore.

Something didn't make the scales. NFL.com graded him 6.45 after the Combine. A note on the chart says that 6.45 equals Starter in maybe 1-2 years. So, a 6'8" and 350 lb man is a developmental guy? I'm using the NFL lingo.

Mims is my #1 RT target at our #27 pick if we go WR with our first pick. We are blessed to be able to zone in on a RT later in the round instead of needing a LT with our first pick, and Mims dominates there. He also tweaked a hamstring today.
