I have heard some discussion on how the 49ers with Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle and McCaffery LEAD THE NFL in YAC so a swing pass of 5 yds to McCaffery turns into 60 yd gain. helping Purdy's passing yardage. Of course DEEBO is unbelievable as a guy able to break tackles in the open field. The above is a testament to how much LARGER WR targets really help the QB and the offense -- McBride for example has really helped his YAC and is a Kelce/Kittle in the making. Back in his first few years, David Johnson led all RB's in YAC and the CP/Arians offense took off. Anyway - I'd be interested in stats as to how far the avg Purdy pass travels in the air and the passing yardage which is created.

Anyway - I'd be interested in stats as to how far the avg Purdy pass travels in the air and the passing yardage which is created. Those big SF receivers are nearly impossible to stop in space. YAC is all on the receiver. And most of the SF receivers use speed and timing to create space prior to a reception. Purdy is very good at judging angular momentum and hitting receivers hands. I noted during the Dobbs era that ARZ receivers ran to a spot and stopped on many plays. That is the result of little practice time. Dobbs tried to win. If anyone knows angular momentum, it's a rocket scientist! Now Murray is trying to shake off rust and win. He's at the opposite end of the rocket scientist spectrum. Doh! Someone knows Purdy's avg pass distance. They also know receivers' YAC distance. I can't find all that data yet. PFF might have it but not for free.

2 Weeks off. 2 weeks to prepare . 2 weeks to think and study nothing but game film on the 9ers. 2 weeks to get a bit more healthy . Give me the underdog Cardinals bringing the spoiler card for San Fran this week .. If by chance they pull this off I'm changing the teams name to "Spoiler Cards".... Go Cardinals !!!

I like your attitude...think positive. I'm certainly not going to predict a win, but if just a few stars line up, I would not rule it out. The 49ers are on a five-game winning streak. They are ripe for an upset. It happens all the time near the end of the season. Good teams get a little lackadaisical when they know they are going to make the playoffs. They better bring their A game, or they just might be in for a surprise. Thats my hope anyway...as Larry the Cable Guy would say “Git 'er done,”

Hopefully we don't get blown out like the Chargers just did on Thursday night.

Chargers players spoke loud & clear on a nationally televised Thursday game leaving no doubt of their intentions - fire Brandon Staley and hire Belichick or Harbaugh for 2024. The Cardinals already hit rock bottom last September when no one gave them a chance to win a game in 2023. The Cardinals will be competitive for a half v. the 49ers. Then Shanahan will mess with us. The Chargers are going to be okay. Herbert will be fine in 2024. He just needs a HC that has his head screwed on right. Some of Staley's calls are baffling. Poor Staley last night. He's on the Titanic and going down. Belichick is on contract after 2023 season. Kraft won't let him go without compensation, cash and or draft picks. Would owner Dean Spanos dance to Robert Kraft's music? There's no bad blood as far as I know. Belichick to LAC could happen, I suppose. Harbaugh is on contract and rumored to be squeezing the UofM through an agent. Harbaugh supposedly wants a new contract starting in 2024 for getting the Wolverines into the 2023 CFP. I don't see Harbaugh walking away from an employer that treats him like a KING. www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/details-emerging-from-jim-harbaughs-contract-negotiations-at-michigan/ar-AA1la1ylThe most likely new HC option for the Chargers is hiring a DC from an NFL team. An OC is less likely, IMV.
