Maybe the best thing I can say about this game....as badly as we played at times, we were in it almost to the very end. I think that says something. One thing I might say....I hope Jonathan Gannon gets his fill of using trick plays out of his system this year when it really doesn't matter. I don't want to see it when we are true competitors. They are great when they work, but more often than not, you just end up looking and demoralizing your team's moral. It's not worth the risk. Thats my criticism for today. I'm already looking forward to next week..... Go Cards!!!
One hard played game and the Cards had some fight…the offense had no answer for the Seachick’s blitzes at the end. Maybe a screen or two would have been better when seeing a blitz coming…but Cards are always bad at screens. The second half offensive woes continue.

I think we can safely say the Dobbs experiment has come to a conclusion There is a reason this is his 6th team in 7 years. Does not possess franchise ability We had to find that out since he knew Petzig's system. We kind of new all along but we had little to work with. I wanted Tune to start the first game or two then Dobbs Now I want to see Tune back. I want to see if our 5th RD pick is worth keeping or not.

You provided a stat and so did I. You keep paying average players like Keim. I would be different. I'm not paying...but if you're calling Budda an average player, I would just have to smh, chuckle, and move on... He has been every bit of bordering average the last 3 years. Very overrated, outplayed by Thompson in 2021 season. Better last year, but still not worth his contract. He can’t cover. He is too small to play the way he plays or the way he is most efficient. Absolute beast mentality but doesn’t have the size to back it up. His results are average. He was outplayed by a FA we signed in Aug the first week. This team does not need him in my opinion. Use his money in the trenches. Looking around making himself dizzy on JSN’s touchdown.

However, they went with Dobbs. After the first 4 games, I thought WTH do I know, this guy is great. Then the wheels fell off. I'll give Dobbs credit even accolades for his toughness and running ability. Unfortunately, his passing ability plateaued quickly, and one can even say regressed. I want to be fair to him, he didn't have a lot to work with. Still his passes were too inaccurate too often. It's not easy being a QB even for a rocket scientist.

I like to see what Tune can do as well but to me it seems a little early to do that. I’m thinking late season after all at the end of the day there’s no reason for Tune to play enough to take us out of the top 5 draft pick or gulp top 10.

Have the Looney Tunes returned to the forum? lol...I got to admit that's funny and maybe even appropriate. What I will say, many of us are intrigued by his confidence and just want to see if he can live up to it. I don't think anybody is saying he is a shoe in, they, we, me just want to see him get a shot. Not all great QB's come from the early rounds. Will he be one of those...maybe....maybe not. In my personal opinion, I think he may have what it takes, but these kinds of things are unknowable unless circumstances put him in a position to see one way or another.

After every game, I look for articles to see what the pundits are saying. Some are fine, others not so much. I was surprised how quickly this one was posted. I thought it would be just another knee jerk response. Yet I pretty much agree with everything it said. You can judge for yourself....here it is. Arizona Cardinals: What We Learned From Week SevenWe have growing problems, but that was to be expected. Despite our won lose record, we are not easy prey. I'm still optimistic.

Thanks for the link I enjoyed the honest comment about the cards got away from the adult offense in the first half and went to some bad trick plays in the second half. The cards do need to keep running the ball in the second half if the game can be kept within reason as the defense did today. Like you I am optimistic although this year the end result or at least wins seem to be elusive and negative for future draft status. I like the fight and young players stepping up. Today Williams and Thomas played well at CB and Wilson had another bad game. Hump did himself a favor and got thrown out to save himself from an embarrassing second half. I thought although not a great game that Beechum showed he is a good swing tackle option. The need to get younger and faster at LT is more evident each game. Colon had a decent day at LG…nothing great, but better than LG has been this year.

Was at work and missed the game. This looks like BS. Was this even challenged? Sure looked like the 2nd foot came down OoB to me. Would it have made any difference though is the next ?.

It was challenged, by the Seahawks. He was called out initially and then Seattle challenged and won. It was extremely close but toe tip might have hit in before rest of the foot was out.

Was at work and missed the game. This looks like BS. The infamous Toenail TD all over again. I immediately thought about that Steelers WR Holmes catch in the wanning seconds of the SB game.

Since I have only seen 1 complete Cards game this year (Card/Pokes game) I'm in the dark about much. Of course they probably zoomed into his OB foot and saw a grass stem wriggle and said, "Yup he was inbounds!" On par for the Cards isn't it!
