So I'm looking at 2020 before this teams becomes a factor again. I tend to agree that this season is a "throw away" for tomorrow. But I am still excited to watch this type of underdog team battle.
I look forward to watching Rosen grow into our leader going forward, expect to see good things in 2019.

It’s a pretty smart line. I lean towards the over. Might put some money on it.
We’re very susceptible to injuries at QB and at the o-line. Probably most so in the league.
I can see us winning 10 games and winning 2 based on that.

If this team struggles to win games all year, is coach safe? Seems he needs to win 6 to stay safe IMO.

he's safe for a year or two, if we don't win any games next year you might be fired, but the chance of us not winning any games, going 0-16, are probably greater than the odds of us winning the superbowl. new systems are given a few years to kick in. only interim coaches finishing out the year after the head coach is fired are given less than two years, and that's not really fired that's just not hired. even buddy ryan lasted two years

4...he better win 4. If he takes this team to 3-13, Rosen will have to save his butt in 2019.

Really bad Cards teams in the past usually managed to win 3-5 games. The worst team had a 3-win season, I think.
Until someone explains how this team is so awful, I'm sitting on .500 again.

we basically have a better team than we had last year be cause we don't have any major injuries. we lost the honey badger but we seemed to lose him to injury every year anyway. another reason not to give dj a contract now and see if he can stay healthy. his last two games have been season enders. we have a quarterback of the future. sure every team healed up over the off season, but the new coach seems focused on reducing injuries. Bradford even sat thru most otas. if we can stay healthy we have more potential than we did last year. now it comes down to the coaching staff. can they game plan or not. and this is the last year the salary cap takes the massive fitz hit probably. so I expect us to be even better next year. look at the bright side, we could be good this year, if not we draft high again next year.
we let honey badger go. he wanted star money and is never going to be available for the play offs even if we make it. he ends every year on injured reserve. tre boston was given a fair offer and told to take a walk when he wanted more. the cards cap management seems to have changed. rather than over paying a few to draw crowds for a losing team they are trying the patriots tactic, putting the team ahead of individuals. people will support a winning team more than they will support a losing team with a star player or two. (or 7). I like the new direction. I think it'll get us results not excuses like "fitz cant throw himself the ball." you put any single player on offense out there against 11 on defense they'll get squashed. any defensive player out there alone same thing, cant cover 1 on 11. you need the other 10 players too, and if they are better than average they are not going to accept being underpaid so some "star" can be over paid. surrounding a few stars with less than average does not work. the stars will complain they are double teamed its not their fault. well maybe if they left some money so the person open from their double team could burn the defense enough times they wouldn't be double teamed. but when you salary makes you the only player they have to defend it is your fault. your demand and claims in contract negations are what eliminate the caliber of talent around you.
I like the new "there is no I in team" direction of the cards. I think it will make them a long term winner just like it does the patriots. and eventually players will want to come here to get a ring more than they want over paid, they'll still have plenty of money left from their last team that did over pay them to watch the cards in the superbowl. no more fitz or Dansby contracts. if you want paid like an eliete quarterback be an elite quarterback. if you cant perform as an elite qb don't expect to be paid like one. maybe we'll stop getting rid of the many good players to stroke the egos of a few. fitz cost us boldin and breaston. plummer cost us larry centers. who knows how much Dansby cost us. its time to let the egos walk and let those committed to winning the superbowl stay rather than those that only want paid like they won the superbowl solo.

Bit of a stretch here. The Last game of the season knee injury against the Rams in 2016 was the Rams D trying Any Way they could to stop him. Even a horse collar tackle while another Ram player rolled up his leg on the outside. I will always believe it was intentional. Those same players Ram's D players were involved in other Card's major injuries. All are no longer on the Ram's team. The 2017 1st game injury was by another head hunter DB who got DJ's wrist with the crown of his helmet straight on. David is Not injury prone. But because he is so good D players are trying to "take him out". Those 2 games are clear evidence of the intent. The last time that showed up was Dockett before he signed with the 9'ers for 500K more than the Cards offered him. Fitz never cost the team Boldin. Boldin's Pride cost the Team. And I'm a huge fan of Anquan. Nor did Fitz cost the Team Breaston. Both those allegations are erroneous and false to the max. And that last line is pure horse pucky.

The irony would be the all or nothing season that didn't meet expectations compared to this season, a 'throw away season', and the Rosen wins rookie of the year, the Cards go 10-6 in route to winning the division with a top defense and David Johnson winning the MVP.

Is it true that the Cards are 1/100 odds to win the Super Bowl this year? Per a comment heard on NFL Network last Thursday, that qualifies ARI as a "bottom feeder." Ugh. That's what a poor QB does for a team.
Three years ago, ARI was the Class of the League. Management has a hard road ahead.

o/u 5.5 . division 18-1, conference 50-1, and superbowl 100-1 per westgale las begas super book which is what espn uses.
but wait a bit. bo sports book opend them at 50=1 to win conference and currently has them at 66-1 to win conference. bovoda opened the cards to win SB at 50-1 back in feb and are now at 100-1 as of june 25. the best odds will probably come right before the 1st preseason game. at 5.5 o/u I would hold out for 250-1 maybe 500-1

The line I got in Vegas yesterday was 6. I liked 5.5 better but was not the case where I was. I went with it anyhow.

I'm not predicting SuperBowl or even divisional winner. However, I am predicting we will be better than what most pundits think.
This is going to be a good year, and I will savor the thought that we will be contenders and not pretenders.
This will be a good year for underdogs....
