The uniform design is conservative. Colors are traditional. Team identity by name and emblem is clear. BIG THUMBS UP.
(Some of the best images of past Cardinals heros are them wearing plain old white and red uniforms with stripes.)
The few helmet changes look good. I like the metal flake, silver face mask, and 3D logo.
(I hope the concussion risks are reduced. Was head safety improved?)
The all-one-color look will take some getting used. But I'm patient. Lord knows I'm really patient. I'm still waiting on that Championship.
(My least favorite uniform is the all-red. I never thought that uniform had much appeal. I think my problem is the red tone. If it was a brighter RED--like my avatar Chinese Red, then maybe I'd find something good to say about the color tone.)

I have ZERO problems with the new uni's...I love that they made them 'simple' instead of trying to make a statement with a gaudy, extreme, weird @$$ look...I'm not a 'jersey wearer' (last one I wore was #17 when in elementary) but will definitely buy for grandson!

This YT video is 2 years old and provides good info on the cost of outfitting a player's entire uniform. The Raiders equipment shed is highlighted.
Nike is the NFL's jersey and pants manufacturer. Other companies provide different pieces of the entire uniform.
The Cardinals probably paid dearly for the 2023 uniform changes. I did not find an estimate online.

I have no issues with the uniforms they are classic Cardinal and simple. The whites are clean and are as Cardinal as ever. I bought two K1 Jerseys for grandsons and sent pictures of them wearing them to their other grandfather who is a Seahawk fan. The actual design of the jersey wasn’t important. LOL Their big smiles in Cardinal gear was priceless. |
